Hi, I have been at this since early August and I really enjoy it, it works for me. I have purchsed several models starting out with the 510. I am not gonig to name them all, not really the point at hand. I moved up to the Protege and Spade which is now my main vape but I have decided though to only use those devices at home. I am one that goes out a lot and I do vape in public (no issues so far at all). I am not embarrassed at all to use my Protege in public (crack pipe) at all but I would just prefer to use a more traditional cig looking device.

So point blank: What is the best (latest and greatess) cig style unit out there now? One that I don't have to worry about going dead every hour. One that I don't have to constantly drip to get good hit and vapor. Someone has had to come up with something by now. Please let me know and thanks in advance!

Thanks, I have not checked out the mega batts but I do have several PCC's. They were a lifesaver in the beginning but after awhile they're not all they're cracked up to be.

Basically what I am looking for is a ecig that will last a solid 4 to 6 hours but not a mod or a big long pen style.

Have you checked out the mega batteries for the 510? They should have decent battery life, though a PCC with regular batteries would get the job done.

Almost every electronic cigarette ever made, be it a standard model or a mod, suffers from the issue of wicking juice fast enough to suit those who use these like a cigarette.

(Read the thread linked in my signature for more information)

Having said that, there are some models in the works, and some even in production, that address these issues, although how well they work I can't say since I don't have any.

But really, if you are having wicking issues because you hit too hard, too fast, too often, then you need to be looking into cartridge mods. There is a subforum here that is dedicated specifically to that topic.

I'm going to suggest either one of these...
1) Blue Foam: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartridge-mods/27723-eheim-filterpad-mod.html
2) ADM Mod with spring: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartridge-mods/46294-must-try-adm-auto-drip-mod.html
