Hi everyone.I am looking at the Lavatube as my first kit.My pre-ordered ego w kits from the north has yet to arrive. Not able to wait any longer,I asked Hubby to buy me another kit instead. He finally agreed to the Lavatube. My question is,what extra parts should I get?How about the catty or atty(hope Im right)?Which is best for Lavatube to enhance its performance.I read something about a 'coil head and a wick.'May I know what that is?Though I did read also that using a wick might be dangerous. It could explode? Please correct me if Im misinformed.Any information will be useful.I will be placing an order but have no idea what to add on.I will truly appreciate any feedback.TIA. PS:Im a newbie.Kindly hope you will use layman terms. :)

Emm...besides wicking, what other options are there?I will still do as you suggest and look at the YouTube vids.More knowledge for me to make an informed decision..

Changing wick and stuffs may be troublesome and yes, you need to measure the coil to make sure there isn't any shorts. I would suggest you to get cartomizers for a start. Easy to fill and use, and extremely convenient. Be it dual coil or single coil they are great. I would recommended you to get prepunched smoktech cartomizers with a tank. Cheap and performs the duty well.

Just like others have suggested, look up YouTube for more info. Looking at videos definitely will understand better as compared to words here lol.

.
Sometime like cartomizer with tank, means a tank to hold liquid and a cartomizer in the middle of the tank to feed liquid into the coil inside the cartomizer.
Or maybe for newbie you can try vivi nova, which is a clearomizer, means a tank to hold liquid, with silica wick to transfer the liquid to the coil head.
Be patience, watch some pbusardo review in the YouTube.

Ty for the info on prepunched cartomizers with a tank.I am a bit nervous on starting my vape experience with a wick as I am inexperienced. Is there any particular brand of cartomizer tht I shld look out for?And how many of these cartomizers should I stock up?Since I presume they have a shorter shelf life compared to atomizers.

Two boxes ( total of 10 ) should be able to last you a good few months but I'd suggest you get more at the start as from my experience, I screwed the first box in less than a week, back then didn't know how to fill properly or sometimes didn't fill enough to get it started and burnt the cotton inside. Clearomizers may be easy to use but I find the vape experience inconsistent as compared to a cartomizer. For cartomizers 100% no burnt taste for me but clearo is a different story.

Also do take note of the type off juices you are vaping...some juices can crack your tank , sometimes what I usually get are hairline cracks and very hard to detect at times...so yeah tanks do come in glass(mostly are chemical resistant so it wont crack), some in polycarbonate and others...remember to stock up so it can last you, for now be abit kanchiong buy abit more like instead of 2 boxes of cartos , you buy 4?...cause this is when you gauge how long a carto can actually last you...I did it this way, but I am not forcing you to follow just an advise

the ones that come with lavatube should last you 500 cycles of charging.....depends on how many Votls you use on the lavatube, the higher the Voltage , the more power it consumes ...nowdays a 2000mAh can last me a day of chainvapin :/

Dont forget to have extra batteries, cartos, extra kits for backup if the main kit fails(touchwood)...last but not least juices , thats the most important thing too
