Oh no worries... I used to spend 85% of my time here in the Gotvapes Mega Contest thread, so I can find the thread ;) That's where I won my gripper (ovale) kit, and met some amazing people. I've not been there in a week or so, just cause I've been tied up in this thread a bit. BUT that's a great place to hang out, especially if any of you are into games, or winning vape loot. lol Its just a sort of lottery, with a ton of rounds. You choose different numbers each round (can last from a few minutes to a few days each), but can only pick numbers for the round they're on when you're choosing. And then, when all the numbers are gone, the rounds end, and the game is over, and if you were there for 10 rounds, you might have 30 numbers, if you were there for two, you might have 6 numbers. And then they pick one number with with random dot org, and whoever chose it is the winner...so its super fair. People have won provaris and all sorts of good stuff... mostly gotvapes kits and cartos, but sometimes the odd outside item. LOTS of fun, and nicest people ever, if you guys are ever looking for something entertaining on ecf. Nice thing is you can jump in and out whenever you like... but of course if you're there more often, you get to play in more rounds. If you pop in, tell em I sent ya, and I haven't dropped off the planet. rofl I need to stop in actually and say hi. ;) And yeah... that is VERY fortunate. lol I'm crossing fingers I get GotVapes vapemail today. Waiting on my replacement head for the vision tox, which has been like 3ish months in the making, so that'll be a thrill. lol But now i really am dying to try the visions. Hmmm... wonder what steeljan was using in her video? Looked like the 1.5ml ones, but I'm not certain. And thanks so much for cluing me in. So odd, when i was there last I looked right at the results of phoenix search and just didn't notice there were two distinct products. lol

Oh I see... the larger size is a giant ego carto, and the smaller size is 510. Yeah, steeljan was using the smaller one, for sure. That's probably more my speed, but that big black carto with the window for the juice would look killer on my black vision tox, or on a black lava tube. ;)

Yeah the larger ones with the sleeve are kind of odd. You Have to have the sleeve on it because it is what hold the tip. The tip will not fit in the tube due to the fact the stopper fits in the very top of the tube. However I think I seen someplace here that a new one was coming that did not have the sleeve. Either way I love them.

I'm curious as to what kind of cartos everyone is using with their DCT's on the LT??? I'm currently using a 3.0ohm pre-punched
single coil. I don't like it at all. It doesn't get warm enough or provide enough throat hit for me, and if I crank up the voltage then it just tastes burned. If I can ever empty this tank, I'm going to try a 2.0, but I wanted to hear what everyone else is running too.

Yeah, I'm not too keen on the 3.0's in the tanks, either. You could always try Boge 2.0s in tanks, but you have to punch those yourself, with a '1/4 inch self-piercing saddle valve' you can get at any hardware store, or a carto punch (much more expensive) that you get at a vape place. But as for me, and a bunch of other people... I'm a HUGE fan of the Resurrectors... which are 1.7ohm single coil Smoktechs. They're available in the regular size (which is the XL dual coil length). I buy mine punched and plated at Crystal Clear Vaping, either in the '510 carto' section, in a 5 pack, or a much much better deal is the '15 carto deals' . You get 15 punched and plated resurrectors, with always free shipping, and your choice of free drip tip. That's usually what I use in tanks. I like them because the vape and carto itself is very similar to something like a boge 3.0, but much much more intense. Now on a version 1 lava tube, you won't be able to push the voltage way high on them... but I will tell you that they are my day to day vape at about 4.3-4.4v. Also, I love the regular ones (xl size) out of the tanks. CCV also has them in stainless in the resurrector 'junior' size, which is the size of a boge (that's in the regular resurrector listing, you just choose the juniors), or in a different listing, in the black color, Jumbos, which hold like 2-3ml of juice. Smoktek.com has the 'xxl rejuvinator' which is exactly the same as jumbos at ccv in the stainless, but they're much pricier. But if you've gotta have gigantic carto in stainless, you can get em at smoktek. I think madvapes might carry those as well.

I've recently found them in the tiny 1/2 a boge size (which I really like, actually, though they do need to be topped off more often) in the super shorty size. Only found them at litecigusa and madvapes. I believe they both call them 1.7ohm single coils, may or may not mention smoktech in the description. So yell if you ever want to try those out, and I'll hunt up links for ya.

But I am exactly the same way. For some reason, in a tank, I really am not fond of the boge 3s, even at higher voltages. Just doesn't do it for me. I love them out of a tank, in the 2 ohms or 3 ohms, at much higher voltages, but in a tank they don't seem intense enough. Try the resurrectors... they're perfect, and strong and intense enough that you don't need to take them even to 4.5 (which is good cause with the v1 lava tube, you can't. lol).

Here's the link for the 5 pack, but the 15 pack is a much better deal if you decide you love em. ;) ALSO, gonna give you a link for the singles at another place, just in case you're low budg and like to try singles first. ;) But ccv is definitely the place to buy em in bulk, cause of price, free tip, and free shipping.

5 pack plated and punched at ccv $11.95
Crystal Clear Vaping
15 pack plated and punched at ccv $24.50
Crystal Clear Vaping

here's the singles, but alas... they're out of stock right now. $1.99
Single Coil XL Tank Cartomizer for the SmokTank XL

aha! found em somewhere else, at $1.59 each... so any of you wanting to try ONE resurrector, punched and plated in a tank, just go here, and make sure you choose 1.7ohm, single coil... that'll be the resurrector. I know you can find the singles, unpunched and unplated (ie regular old carto xl/aka dual coil sized), at either smoktek.com or madvapes.com. CCV might even carry singles, but I believe he only has singles in the dual coils.
Pre Punched Replacement tank cartomizers

Seriously... Ive gotten a bunch of people started on these things in tanks, and to my knowledge, the only one who hasn't liked them really LOVES his dual coils. I'm not so much a fan of them. But I had one guy... actually a vendor here now, tell me that he'd nicknamed his resurrectors at 4.3v "Vapor Beast". lol They're really rather terrific. I love the 'super shorty's' also, and am dying to try the jumbos. BUT I have heard from at least 20 people that the jumbos vape exactly like the regular ones, so i'm very confident in recommending them. ;)

I honestly don't know... they've only mentioned the dual coils that come in them, and to my knowledge not many people are having great luck with them on the v1 Lava, cause of the 2.5amp restriction. I KNOW you can get a smoktech single in a slightly higher ohm as well, at that last link I gave... but honestly, to my knowledge... Smoktechs are the only ones that come punched and plated, aside from a few weird ego tank ones. Vaping Zone does have a 'high voltage' carto section, with a bunch that are punched and plated, but they're all in the dual coils (though in much higher resistances, like 3 and 4). And since you mentioned you weren't digging the 3's, didn't think you'd wanna go higher. lol

I do know some of the more advanced vapers here were using XL boges in their tanks, in 2.0ohm, and loving it, but again, you have to punch your own. Those are the only options that have ever been mentioned here, or that I've seen anywhere on ecf. Foggy, often in the Phiniac Tank thread and Gotvapes mega thread... I know she somehow uses a clearomizer, like a flux ce3, i believe, in her phiniac tank, but I don't know that that works with a regular old dct. You might ask her if that intrigues you, though.

Oh and also... if you have a short carto that you like, like a reg size boge, and it just won't fit in yer tank, I know kalamazoo vapers has the new 'shorty' tanks by smoktech that'll fit em. Theyre 3.5ml, but short and squat. I'm gonna get one of those one of these days, just cause they look a lil sleeker on the lt than the reg 3.5ml smok tanks, cause they're the same 'width' as a large tank.. if that makes sense. lol

Apuck... you ever tried say a 2.5 or 3.5 ohm DUAL coil in your tanks? Its totally different than say the 3ohm single coil you're using now. You might like that... lots of people do. That might be worth a shot. I'm not a huge fan of the dual coils, but I have a friend who raves about the higher ohm ones in dcts at high voltages.

lol... practically... you can upgrade to priority for $4, but they ship so fast, that their regular free shipping usually reaches me in same time as when i do priority elsewhere. They do have a thread, I pop in from time to time. Yell out if you can't find it, and I'll hunt it up for you. Oh, also! Andrew is starting a thing where he is giving away 2 $25 gift certs in a contest every week! Now THAT is cool. So when you're in the thread, make sure you find the link to the contest, so you can enter every week...

And that was for all of you that get stuff or want to try stuff at ccv...

Here's the CCV thread...
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...talclearvaping-com-information-thread-57.html

And here's a link to this weeks contest giving away $25 gift certs to 2 winners. You just have to make a post in the thread. I theenk the links change every week though, so you can always find the link to the current contest in ccv thread.

Hi there! Offhand, I'm not sure which visions you're talking about, ce4 stardusts, or something like one of the bigger vision tanks. I have a photo tutorial that'll walk you thru whether you'll need an adapter or not on the METAL lavatubes, like the stainless, copper, or chrome, then that should tell you, but if you're using another kind of lavatube, then just let me know what kind (the first post in this thread should help with that), or if you have a link to where you bought it, I'll be able to figure it out based on the body type, as well as the connection and the amp switch it has. Oh, and which kind of vision it is, of course. ;) Welcome, btw! And congrats on the Lavatube... they really are amazing little devices for the money. If you like yours half as much as I like mine, you're gonna be a VERY happy lady. lol And of course, feel free to ask if you have any follow up questions, or new ones, about anything else you need.

:blush:Geesh, forgive me... its 3:30 am and I'm half asleep. The photo tutorial is on my ecf blog, so you can get there with the link in my avatar area.

Thanks for the welcome! :) I read your blog, and I'm thrilled to see the pics! I can't remember what version LT I'm getting, but the Vision I've been using fits my eGo battery. I got it from Virgin Vapor. There was a pic on your blog that looked like my Vision, so I may need the adapter that was shown with it. I'm sorry to be so vague, but I feel like a noob all over again with this new stuff! :)

I should be getting my LT in a couple days, and I'll post when I find out. Many thanks for the info!! :)

Lol... what he said, exactly... '510 to Ego Adapter'. ;) Only way that would be different is if you bought a stainless or chrome tube, and you'd know that for sure... it would be all shiny like the one in my photos. And nice to see another fan of Annette's, here! I love my Virgin Vapor. ;)

I actually don't have the link to that in my blog, but I'll grab ya one. Back in 1 sec.

Well that's good news, at least! How's it working for ya?

lol and I forgot the big question... have you tried a 1.7ohm on there, yet? If memory serves, that's where the old one was getting cranky on you, right?

Working as intended !! Yea its nice to have a fully functional VV again. I didnt realize how much I missed this thing when I went back to 3.7 for a week.

Many thanks for the links. :) Oh yes, I'm a big fan of Annette. :) Her e-juice is fantastic! I was thrilled to discover her EcoPure line. I've used EcoPure from the start, and everything else I've tried pales in comparison. I can't wait to try them with my new LT!
