Hi carlton.

This is the one I have: Vision Cartomizer 2.5 mL | Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

But I'd love to try the one you mentioned! :) Things change so fast in the ecig world, it's hard to keep up. When I first started vaping, I started out on a 510 with carts, and attys. Now you can get a ProVari, or a Darwin, and the wonderful Vision cartos. I wonder what the next few years will bring? :)

BTW, I love your avatar pic! :)

You won't need an adapter with that, it'll work just fine. :) I also started on 510's with cartridges. *shudder* I think we're going to see a veritable explosion of new apv's over the next year or so. I'm excited to see what happens!

And thanks! Little Mia sure has big ears, doesn't she? lol

You know what's funny? I always think of attys with a CARTRIDGE as such antiquated vaping gear, and a friend of mine, rickajho, just told me about these ego 'mega' attys and the cartridges that go with em. Sound promising enough that I might well spend the $13 on atty, and $5 on a pack of empty cartridges, just cause I know I can clean the filler in em easily and reuse with diff flavors, or replace the filler entirely. I like that there's a way to get a few hours vaping out of an atty sensation, anyway. Just thought I'd mention that, since most of us started off with crummy attys and cartridges. lol And I, for one, am constantly on the lookout for a way to taste flavors, or test DIY mixes without killing a carto on a bad juice, and having to mess with cleaning it.

BTW, Funnyfarm... I figured out the issue... I can't SEE what you did to yours. I have my settings fixed funny. So I'll resolve that then I'll hijack all your good ideas! rofl And the really funny thing is helping a sort of mentor of mine get her man off the cigs, and she's floating around here at ecf now, researching goodies for him. I know her from digital art world. She'd be mondo irritated with me that I'm not making a 'better showing' with dig art yum here than I am. And now I know she's here, so I need to hide till I get prettied up. rofl

BTW, Carlton... you're a good one to ask. Said buddy is wanting to get her hub a juice that's as close as possible to 'marlboro lights'. Now I know a million people will give you a million different answers as to best light tobacco. There's one at good prophets that I like, and find a rather lightish taste... but do you have a suggestion? Thanks hon!

And trunkinlady... Just a suggestion, but the one carlton mentioned has now been upgraded with longer wicks, which I see as the big design flaw of the originals.. see those tiny stubby wicks up at the top of the original one? THOSE are the problem. So if you try that exact model, you'll have to sorta swirl your pv upside down to get the wicks wet. Or you can get the exact same carto, only with longer wicks (much Mo betta) here...
Vision eGo CE4+ Clearomizer DV Edition (LR)
OR, even better.. they now have a version that is a tiny bit bigger (say another .5ml or so) AND has a replaceable core... so when it dies, or if you get the dreaded burned flavor, you can just take out the 'core' and replace it with a new one, and save a ton of money. Here's the carto itself...
eGo CE5+ Rebuildable Clearomizer
and spare cores w wicks and coil
eGo CE5+ Rebuildable Core

All I've tried is the orig, but the upgrades are getting much more positive reviews than the originals... and I know the stubby wicks are what I don't like about the originals, so it makes sense. lol

K, any of you hunting or considering an intelligent charger, 310 Vapers has a ridiculous sale on them. I swear when I checked 2 weeks ago their price was like $21... but now they have it on sale for $13.50, which is an excellent bargain if you're wanting a higher quality charger than the ones that come in the kits. ALSO... that charger will charge ANY mod battery that is under 70mm in length. So lets say you have a lava tube, and you buy an ovale incremental vv for an inexpensive backup... you'll need to charge 18350s and 18650s (assuming your LT is a regular size one)... this will do both. And then down the line, you get a bottom feeder that needs 14500s... it'll do those too. So if you think might be a few mod person, eventually, this is a killer way to have all your charging one in one simple device, MUCH better for high drain batteries, like IMRs than the ones that come in kits.
310Vapers.com | Xtar WP2 II Charger (18650, 18500, 18350 & More) | e-Cigarette, eGo, 3VO, cartomizers, atomizers, batteries

and thanks, Kaleb, for giving me link to best price on that! Oh, and I have no idea how long that sale will last, but its good as of 5/23... price on WP2 II bay charger is $13.50

Hmmm. I haven't smoked a cigarette in a good long time, so I'm not sure I'll be much help. I really like NLV's Twilite Tobacco, however, and I recommend everyone try it! I remember when I first started vaping and thought that it would be the bees knees to find a vape that tasted like a cig. I've found a few that actually seem to replicate the taste of smoke (flue cured tobaccos, I don't remember where from) and I absolutely hated them. lol

K...hook me up... what's NVL? Wracking my brain to come up with a shop that lines up to it, and coming up empty. lol Thanks, hon! I knew you'd have a good idea. ;) I also told her Johnson creek... yay, nay? Any ideas? Meanwhile, you know he's gonna end up with other flavors. lol I told her to get a sampler at tvr just to be safe, then she can try out 5 or so tobaccos for him, and a bunch of good non tobaccos... Apple pie and Cinnamon Danish Swirl seem to be universally loved. Also mentioned the 'pipe sauce' at epipemods.com since I've heard such great things about them and they're sorta tobaccos with a bit of fruit. Plus she's a graphic artist, and they have coolest bottles, ever. rofl I think its so great that she's doing all the footwork for him. Her name here is HollieH, so if you see her around, say howdy! lol

dur... did a search and found it..nitelitevapor.us

K, so got nitelitevapor.us 'twilight tobacco' and someone else recommended the 'NVL Gold'... so i'll give her those... they're not available for ordering just now.

Anyone else have any fave tobaccos, lightish ones, similar to a lite flavor they'd recommend?

halocigs has some good tobacco flavors. In fact until recently I believe they were all tobacco flavors. I personally like midnight apple and tribecca, but those are blended flavors, more pipe like. Also a pg juice site, but really good tobacco flavors. Not sure which to suggest for reg. cig flavors, but they have decent descriptions.

K, another thread I'm in just popped up with this KILLER deal... anyone looking for those 2200 mah Panasonic IMR hybrid batts that last longer than the AW Imrs... they're $7.18 here with code Vape10
Panasonic CGR18650CH Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery

That's cheaper than you can get cheap IMRs... definitely good deal.

and thanks for the halo idea... that didn't even occur to me. I'm thinking they're gonna start off with him on a pg/vg blend, so that should work for them. I don't even 'radar' pg only places, cause I can't vape em. Thanks, chrisz!

Orbtronic has those batteries for $9+ free shipping too, so probably roughly the same price.

its $8.89 at orbtronic.. that's the link I've been giving, but I did NOT know they had free shipping... so yeah, probably works out to the same or a little cheaper at orbtronic. Thanks so much for pointing that out! I guess if you're buying a bunch would be a good way to make the sale at carolina pay, otherwise, for a few orbtronic makes more sense. I dunno what shipping is at carolina. I just ordered a few AWIMR 18350s at RTDVapor.. they were like $7.40 or something nuts.

Oh, and just because I see some of the other stuff out there... I have a friend with a provari. I know you all know where this is going, he downgraded my tube on first site. Then ordered one as a "backup", talked to him yesterday, both of us using the lavatube.... Now hold on to your seat... He said he doesn't even know where his provari is. That would upset some folks out there.

Holy schneikes.. is he using the v 1.5 tube, like you are? I'm making that assumption. That is seriously cool. Seriously. Cool. I guess I can stop bowing and scraping and wishing for a provari. Of course, REALLY want one of those new silver minis with that cool pattern on em. I just will not ever have an extra $160 or whatever they cost. And always have lusted for a mist in the woods provari... but hell.. unless I go into spontaneous remission, and can go back to work, that'll remain a pipe dream. lol I am relatively happy with my steel tube (would loooove that 3.2 or 4 amp switch and the ohm meter, though in the new versions) and my new... now finallly working... vision tox.

BTW, any of you who wanted to check out those tox, that work like a lavatube, but can be switched from 18350-18500 and with an extra $10 tube to 18650... they're finally received from china and on the site at gotvapes, now. And I can report that the new heads are killer, and seem to be going up to close to 6v. Can't meter it, though, so you may want to wait for some reviews. BUT... make sure you're watching reviews of the metal head upgraded tox, cause there's a ton of crummy reviews that people did before the unit was completely redesigned/reprogrammed and thus before it maintained voltage under load properly. My new head is awesome, though! So if switching sizes or a really clear display is important to you, that may be one to consider.

Hey, I'm not sure about all the battery discussion. I'm still using the ones that came with & bought extra when I ordered. But ccv has a "smok 18650" 2200 mah for $7 in their discounted items section. And they have free shipping too.

I dont' know why they have that battery.. I'm 89% positive it won't fit in the lavatube body... or at least not the steel body. 2000mah imrs from other sellers were barely fitting, and there was a little gap. They couldn't get the cap on with 2200mah. Those might be particularly short 2200s, though, but honestly...IMO, you're MUCH better off with the Panny 18650s at 2200mah... Its just much more stable chemistry. I'm not an authority on the subject but I did a ton of research and listened to people who ARE an authority. lol And barring that Panny, get AW imr. The lesser brand imrs just aren't thought quite as highly of, either for perfomance or stability, and they certainly don't last as long.
