I built a mod using a 510 atomizer connector in a small metal box with a hinged lid. It works great other then leakage from the base of the atomizer where the vent holes are. Liquid leaks from the vent holes and runs under the lid on the outside of the mod. Every time I open it to change batteries I have to wipe off the e-liquid that has leaked out. Is there something I can do to correct this? Would this be a defect in the atomizers? Or Is it just that I am adding too much liquid?

I would say that you are adding too much liquid, or if you are dripping you didn't vape enough of the liquid off and the rest seeped out while the atty was 'resting'.
Not a defect all atties will leak out he airway holes if juice is sitting in the atty.
solution only a couple drops on the bridge and vape until just before the dry taste.

Thank you for the info. Other then that I am very pleased with this mod. I will change my usage ways a bit and see if that helps.
Yes, thank you for your help. It is very much appreciated. I need to spend more time on this forum and look around. I believe there is so much I can learn here. All I know is these E-Cigs were a great invention. I haven't had an analog in over a year now and no desire for one. I panic if I leave home without mine. I do a quick u-turn no matter how far I am away from home and it is 15 miles to town from where we live. LOL
