I splurged on a 2nd Z-Atty Pro because my first delivered almost the Perfect vape.

This 2nd one started out even better - it came with the BEST coil I have ever seen, glows top to bottom without hot spots. And the wick works flawlessly whatever the position.

But, it's leaking. I had to travel last week and I left my PV standing on end on my desk with the Z-atty attached. I returned 8 days later to find my Provari covered and filled with the e-juice that was in the tank. The leakage is NOT via the 510 connection it is all over the outside of the Provari.

This COULD be an over-wicking issue but I don't understand why there should be leakage beyond the top o-ring. I have done searches for leaking z-attys and haven't seen this problem described.

Anybody? TIA

Post-Script: I am ...uming that the e-liquid inside my PV got in via the display. This is a problem I have had before with a leaking Vivi-Nova.

Nubiwan,
over wicking can cause your liquid to flow like a straw due to the apidimi action of the wick. If i ever leave my genesis atomizers un attended, for a few days at a time, i always empty them. Was your tank sealed all the way? Check your orings and make sure they are creating a full seal. is it possible that it filled the top cap chamber with juice and flowed out of the air hole?

As for your provari, give it an iso bath, follow these instructions and you should be good to go if juice leaked into the ProVari.

Troubleshooting Tips

Kindly,
Ken

Chowder,
We do not recommend dunking the provari into the iso alcohol, you can take the iso and pour it into the tube of the provari and swish it around, let the provari dry out for a day or 2. When completely dry, everything should be good to go. We recommend the iso bath if,
A. you are getting error codes
B. an excessive amount of liquid made its way inside of the provari.

Kindly,
Ken

Thanks, I have had to do the iso-bath method before. Waited two days and was super relieved when all was well on the 2nd firing. Got a weird blip on the display on the 1st firing after the iso treatment. I suggest 99% if you can get it.

RE: The leaking, I will try taking it apart next and reassemble it with some lube on the o-rings. If that doesn't work I will try pinching off the top of the wick (I'd hate to do that).

Keep on Vaping

Mine turned out to be a small hairline crack down near the bottom of the tank. When I took it apart for cleaning I could see it clearly. I tried to re-assemble it with the crack near the top and the result was a crack the full length of the tank section.

Seems I got a lemon 'cause this Z-atty also had a couple bad o-rings as well (warped & dried out).

In case anyone else finds this problem with a Z-Atty-Pro - contact Provape right away. I got the impression from customer service that if I'd been able to contact them right after purchase that they would make things right. As it is, I bought a couple replacement tanks and some o-rings and all is well.
