I know that my seemingly endless leaking problems (on everything no matter the cost or make) may have had a little to do with me being very new to handling all the parts and filling and cleaning because the horrible leask disappeared mostly on their own without me doing much different. The rest stopped after I was careful to make sure every part was very dry before reassembling.
Any moisture left in threads and grooves of any part can set up leaking. That moisture is evaporated and condenses as the coil warms the surrounding area and sets up areas where it can leech out followed by e-
juice.
Make sure that every time you remove the atomizer from the battery you clean those threads and connections well too, e-
juice can leak around even the smalleds gap cause by some improperly seated threads even if it feels 'tight'. Also don''t be over tightening or you can cause the threads to start getting stripped and lead to worse leaking.
As the PP said make sure the center hole is clear of e-
juice before reconnecting to battery even if your positive you kept it all down the sides, just a splash can be enough. Many people just get in the habit of blowing once before connecting every time.
Make sure you blow through it several time after cleaning and again before using it the first time after cleaning. During cleaning you know that water gets in there.
Also make sure during use, depending on your tank. delivery method/device etc that you are not positioning it where the e-juice can spill or leak that way. your PV in a way that the juice can get near the tip or over the atomizer cap area. I found that keeping my PV at some angle so the battery was lower than the delivery device really cut down on the leaking problems. I know that you see lots of videos where people have full devices laying flat on their sides and don't complain about leaks, but that may be because they don't do it all the time, or only for a very short time or because of the shape of their delivery device.. the juice can run to the end easier in some shapes than others.
Also connect everywhere plastic.meta l is 'permanently connected' - ie glues- just like anything you can get a device that was not sealed as well or could have used a high acidic juice that caused some cracking or loosening of the compound used to connect the two parts. If that is the case and that is where the leaks are coming from there may nothing that can be done, sadly.
It does not take much e-juice to make your PV and your hands fill covered with leaks. One drop can be enough to make everything feel sticky so it can seem like your 'leaking everywhere'.
I also took up carry a couple of those little packages for wet wipes for hands in case of leaks, to wipe down the PV and my hands.
