Leaky MT3

Hi all, first time poster, long time lurker. I just received a Kanger MT3 in the mail about 2 hours ago from myvaporstore.com. I filled it with a bit of juice that I had been meaning to vape for about a week. After about the second or third drag i got the gurgling noise and cleaned out the inner tube using a napkin and blowing through it. About 10 miutes later it did the same thing. Ive pretty much lost all the fluid that was in there. did I get a bad MT3 or should I just stay away from it all together? Thanks in advance.

I learned how to correct the leaking issues, but it was always a problem for me. I liked the bigger tank, but I can't have a device leaking all the time. Your juice and temperature affect this the most, but there's half a dozen other reasons as well. I switched to the evod and enjoyed it for a long time. Switched to the Protank and Davide, and enjoyed them even more by adding an air flow controller. Switched to carto tanks, and found heaven. My Carto tanks (Phiniac's) are my ADV. I also started rebuilding about a month ago with the Kayfun, Ithaka, and RSST, and they were far easier than I was led to believe. They're good too, and I occasionally alternate between the RBA's and carto tanks. But, I'm a big carto tank fan. Need a good punch and tank tool, some good cartos and tank, and it's as close to the best vape you can get. RDA's are probably the best possible vape, but not the easiest to use (because they drip). You can fix that with a bottom feeder like a REO, but now we're way beyond your current level. Good luck and best to you!

The seal for the air tube is leaking, hence the gurgling. You need a new atomizer head. They are very leak prone. I love those tanks, but you might want to switch to a Kanger T3S because the atomizer heads are cheaper.

Funny you should mention the EVOD, that was what i was originally going to buy but got the MT3 instead. Not really going to get much more in depth with tanks considering its just an ego knockoff that im using to begin with

The MT3 was plagued with leaking problems due to a design flaw where the stem joined the base assembly over the coil. This base replacement and a new head will fix you up. I have two MT3S systems that were converted this way, and until one of them died in an unfortunate accident, they are/were worry free.

Good idea, this stuff always happens close to the weekend so i have to wait even longer
