I've been kinda looking for a mechanical mod. Yea I know, Everyone that knows me knows I got more than I know what to do with.

Just kinda like the idea of a strictly mechanical mod that I can put a Kick in if I want to. I'd love to have a Precise Plus or the ELA they just came out with, but I've been looking really hard at the Lecacy from Puresmoker.com. I was comparing prices and I can get a setup of the Legacy that will handle everything from a 18350 to an 18650 by just buying an extra tube and extension. I already got the kick and I can have a device that I can change whenever I want to for around $134.00. Not the warranty like the Super T Products but from what I've seen, it can be fixed really easy. Any thoughts about the Legacy? I already got the kick for my SB so that's no problem. Also got all the batteries I need. I like the SB both ways, but I've been thinking about a straight mechanical mod. My minds not made up yet, just looking for some opinions.

That's what I was thinking when I was it on their site. I get the 18650 + the 18350 tube + the extension tube for the 18650 and I could run it in any size I wanted. What I got interested in was a review and the bottom button switch looks easy to use and it locks for pocket friendly.

I don't own a Legacy and I've never tried one out so I can't comment either way on it. For a long time I looked at the Precise mechanical mods but I couldn't bring myself to spend that much money on one all mechanical APV. Then one day I got to try out someone elses :D I now LOVE my Precise plus and wish I'd invested the money sooner to purchase one :)

The cost is my main factor for the Legacy. After watching a few reviews of the Precise and Legacy, it looks like the Legacy fire button might work better for my hands. (Arthritis has found me at long last). Sure do like the warranty on the Precise though

That's why I'm asking opinions from other members

BTW I really don't want a box mod. Just don't care for the looks or the way the box mods are shaped. Don't look very pocket friendly to me.

The Legacy switch can be adjusted for a short or long throw by the removal or addition of washer/spacers inside the switch; I have mine set to a very short throw, and it's almost effortless to fire (almost a hair-trigger!) and yet the spring is just stiff enough that the device can sit on its .... on the desk without firing. I don't know about the Precise as far as button firing effort is concerned, but the Legacy should be pretty kind to your hands ... :)

One other thought about the Legacy: the lock ring on the switch spins open and shut (unlocked/locked) so easily, I can lock or unlock the switch with a quick flick of a finger ... it's faster than I can lock/unlock my eGo Twists with the 5-click on and off.

Now that's what I'm talking about. Sounds like the Legacy with the extra tubes is soon to be on it's way. Thanks to all who helped with this. (I hate when I get a case of the wants);)

I was making the same decision. ELA or Legacy? After looking at both I went with the legacy. Just ordered it Friday so I don't have it yet but I'm anxious to get it. Whatever you get I'm sure you'll enjoy. Both have excellent reputations. Good luck and vape on.

Good choice on your mech. mod.I can't wait for my ELA to get here so i can move my Legacy to my backup mech.

The button on the legacy will fire no matter if you press it on the side, center, towards the bottom of it,it will fire every time. You will be able to adjust the throw of the button to fit your needs with the supplied parts bag that comes with it.

I placed the order last night. Everything I mentioned in the first post. Wound up getting a Legacy 18650 + the 18350 tube and also the extension tube. Also got some extr stuff so I could include the free shipping. Batteries for different mods. ( like I need more). Checked in this morning and had a PM from another member offering to sell me his legacy. I guess when you snooze you lose.

Baditude you know me and if its a thumbs up you'll hear a lot more about the Legacy. LOL

I'd like to hear from anyone that has or is getting the Legacy. Maybe we could get a subforum for it. (If its popular enough and the Moderators permit it)

I had a Legacy, loved it. It was my first mech mod. I'll probably get another, I loved that thing. Probably soon. I had just gotten dazzled by the "it" factor of a lot of things but I want a mod made in America, entirely fixable by me with parts from the hardware store...this is that mod.
