I had a Legacy, loved it. It was my first mech mod. I'll probably get another, I loved that thing. Probably soon. I had just gotten dazzled by the "it" factor of a lot of things but I want a mod made in America, entirely fixable by me with parts from the hardware store...this is that mod.

That's what appeals most is how easy it can be fixed.

I placed the order last night. Everything I mentioned in the first post. Wound up getting a Legacy 18650 + the 18350 tube and also the extension tube. Also got some extr stuff so I could include the free shipping. Batteries for different mods. ( like I need more). Checked in this morning and had a PM from another member offering to sell me his legacy. I guess when you snooze you lose.

Baditude you know me and if its a thumbs up you'll hear a lot more about the Legacy. LOL

I'd like to hear from anyone that has or is getting the Legacy. Maybe we could get a subforum for it. (If its popular enough and the Moderators permit it)

Congratulations! I'm sure you'll be pleased ... and there is a Legacy sub-forum; it's part of the PureSmoker forum. :D

You will with out a dought in my mind absolutely love the legacy once you have it in hand.It is my main go to mod and is with me all day long.I have the extended kicked 18650 and the mini sleeve,i only have a couple 18350 batteries so i am not in mini mode very long during the day and tend to enjoy the battery time i get from 18650 mode. The throw on the switch is easy to adjust,if you are using nipple top batteries you will only need to add one washer,if needed at all,and for flat top batteries(which i tend to use)you will need 2-3.I have mine set with two,and the throw on my switch requires alot more force to fire it.I have set it with three washers and the throw was almost too tight, just barely touching the button would fire it.If you have either a vapesafe,or holocron shortstop fuse you will need to remove the washers. The width of the fuse is all you need for the switch.I would suggest getting some noalox to put on the threads,it is NOT needed out of the box,as the threads are buttery smooth, just for cleaning and maitenance you will need to do.The mod is on the heavy side mini mode is not too bad but extended kicked 18650 is heavy, nothing that will drag you down. The center pin is adjustable with a small jewelers flathead you can screw the pin out to make contact.

I own the Legacy mini and also have a ProVari mini. I love them both. I have gotten rid of every other device I had except for these 2. I carry my Legacy to work along with 2 other batteries and keep the other one at home. I do plan someday on getting a kick for it. You won't be sorry with the Legacy. My only complaint with the unit is my spring kept falling off. I enlarge it a little and now its perfect.

My legacy arrived today. I have to say I'm impressed. It's got nice weight. It feels very solid. The switch is very nice. It's completely adjustable at both the switch and the top cap for atomizer placement. I really like it. photo (11).jpgphoto (2).jpgphoto (2).jpgphoto (3).jpgphoto (4).jpgphoto (6).jpg

Well she arrived today. I admit I was Extremely please at the looks of her. Kinda like a sexy lady. All the tubes to go to different modes.
Played around with just some different battery configurations, 18350, 18490, and the 18650. It's so tiny compared to some of the others I have. Wound up putting a kick and a 18490 in her and then started the adjustments. It took a bit of time to get everything set right but I think I got it. Kinda wish I could get just a very little bit more on the trigger button but at this time I'm just impressed to much to worry about it. Sure am glad you can adjust the center post. About half my carto/tanks wouldn't fire till I adjusted it some.
I'm still amazed at the size and feel of it. Makes me think of my provari when I hold it. It just feels like QUALITY!!!!!!!!! And the bottom switch is fantastic. Better than I could have ever dreamed of. Pics will follow when I have the time.

After a couple of days of use I've decided to order an additional adapter and switch assembly, plus some extra springs. I want to get the mini version up and running. I don't mind saying that with a kick I'm using this as much if not more than my Provari.
(bring on the hate). It's a great little mod. But I ALWAYS got at least one Provari with me at all times. Now I can't turn lose of either one of them. I think when I finally get everything switched over to a LR I gonna be one happy camper. (Just to much to use up before that finally happens. ;)

If you purchased the mini tube along with the standard which i thought you said you did,all you need to do is use the top cap,and switch to change to mini mode instead of putting out $60.00 for the cap and switch, just trying to save you some money.Unless you are trying to have both standard and mini without having to change into each mode.If you fiddle with the switch enough you will get the throw you want on it set right.

I did think of one thing that could make this Great Mod FANTASTIC!!!!! If they would put a locking ring that knurled, little ridge patterens, on it then it would be easier to lock and unlock. So far I think this is a small complaint. But it would look sweet. I may try to find a some one with a lathe. (If i still had the first job I'd do it myself). The smooth finish is kinda hard for me to lock and unlock. Other wise it's a winner in all ways for me.
