The FDA just confirmed that was a pack of the new mint nicorette gum and that all FDA-approved cessation products work wonders. [/truthful sarcasm]

On a side note, I confirmed that smoking is so pervasive and hard to quit that even the leader of the free world can't beat it.
If only he knew how much easier quitting could potentially be. He has the opportunity to be the first vaping President, and the last smoking President. Very history book friendly stuff.

I wonder if Obama has ever tried any kind of vaping device. He might have, though I doubt it. Maybe he tried some crappy e-cig and drew negative conclusions from that.
Obama has been given at least two electronic cigarette kits...

Senator Cliff Stearns (who uses/used electronic cigarettes himself) gave one to Obama.
Also talk show host Wendy Williams sent him one.

No word on whether he ever tried them.

Those were a long time ago, so he may have gotten more since.
Still no word on whether he ever tried them.

I think Michele would not approve.
She seems like a hardcore ANTZ if you ask me.

A while back:

Obama hasn't tried electronic cigarettes, White House says - Washington Times

President Obama has admitted to smoking {Moderated} and cigarettes in years past, but he’s never puffed on an electronic cigarette.

Asked whether the president has ever tried the products, commonly known as e-cigarettes and presented as a much healthier alternative to traditional smokes, White House press secretary
Jay Carney said he’s never seen anyone in the West Wing use them.

If the first paragraph is just a conjecture from the second, then it's still possible since "never seeing one", doesn't mean someone hasn't used one :- )

True, but if he was a real leader, he wouldn't be {Moderated}-whipped.
Being intimdated by Michelle over family matters is one thing, but over important policy, it is completely unacceptable.

The President has thoroughly mis-managed the role of federal agencies regarding THR. He may carry the most blame in the anti-vaping corruption. He should take advantage of his opportunity as a smoker (or ex-smoker), and try vaping to see for himself, before empowering TC to spread the lie that it doesn't work, and all the other lies.
