Around where I am, $9 a bag or $12 for the "good bags"... $16 for the $9 bag at a place just a few minutes away. Yeah I did those things too....
It was amazing the difference a few days of
vaping made for my lungs.. We used to get up and hack and cough for about 1/2 hour while TRYING to have a smoke in the morning.. eventually get enough coughed up to be able to finish one....
Strangely enough that all stopped right after I got my kit and dropped down to about 2-3 smokes as day. I kept a single one and a lighter in my car as an "emergency".. I think it was more of an emergency when I finally had it.....
Alot of people around here/I know use them, or have used them simply because of the price, so when they ask how much it costs to vape, I tell them about the same as the bags(consumables, carts and juice, etc), but I can breathe and enjoy the taste!
Generally the response is more positive towards vaping when they know they can get the "nic fix" for the same price as the cheapest possible option but not have to deal with what they used to for that savings.
I guess that is why when I spoke about the financial side of vaping the most in a previous post, was because it was the one thing that every smokers has in common regardless of their CURRENT health issues or lack thereof. Every smoker always talks about the price of a pack of smokes...
So many people who I have given business cards of the vendors I have dealt with to, are more excited about the savings than the health reasons, but if that was gets them to where they need to be, the health aspect will be obvious.
It's not that I don't talk about that part, it seems to be the one that gets the most interest is the $$$, then I get to talk about the rest of the benefits, because then they want to know more.
The one big thing I think is very critical is to be honest about the initial costs up front and monthly consumables, simply from my own experience trying to get into vaping a few years ago. I know I walked away with a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth ( not just from teh juice I would end up sucking in ) when I came to the realization of the actual monthly costs vs. the perceived and at the time explained costs were. The less surprises along the way = less distractions from all the positives.
Just my long winded pennies
