Let's participate! Long-term study on E-cigs - University of Geneva questionnaire

Visited the Dekang site today, and found that they're asking e-cig users to participate in the study.

That survey was really long, but I made it through. Since I've only started recently it's pretty difficult to fill out, as it seems like they're trying to determine the addiction level of the e-cig rather than it's potential as a smoking cessation aid.

I was surprised at its length myself, and I only started it after opening the thread. Almost threw my hands up when I submitted my answers only to find that the second page was 1 million screens long. But every little answer to every little study helps humanity, right?

I would assume from the sort of questions asked they are trying to figure out if ecigs can make people stop reg cigs, if they determine that the next step would be to study the effects of ecigs. i even signed up for the saliva swabs. and the follow up questions.

I took it like a lot of those I am suspicious of the outcome as they not get a good representation of the average vaper/smoker. Plus they can make it read what ever they want if they don't show the raw data. But it seemed to be pretty thorough.

as much as i been around the block they can just run my email or nickname and they will have plenty of info on me anyways lol

lol I'm just not a trusting person .I just think what if its a group they send you the package that's supposed to be viles for saliva you open it and bang its small pox but that's just how my crazy brain works could be a great research group trying to gather real info .

lol I'm just not a trusting person .I just think what if its a group they send you the package that's supposed to be viles for saliva you open it and bang its small pox but that's just how my crazy brain works could be a great research group trying to gather real info .

I understand the points ,but in my mind a company like dkang isnt going to just post a random link on the website,especially something that could very well ruin their reputation, you can bet the head honchos there didnt just slap it up without checking the facts first.
especially if its anything to do with regulating or ruining their profit margin.

2 ended up chewing Nicorette for 10 years
3 never intend to quit nicotine, maybe just it's deliver system but vaping WAS that change

Isn't that sad? My MIL who is 74 is dying of emphysema,,,,,,she's kicked cancer's .... 3 X but she won't kick this,,,,,,

when I showed her my e-cig, she said she thought about it once, but she was afraid of e-cigs because of the antifreeze.

Ouch, that hurts. Did you tell her that Colgate feeds "antifreeze" to all its customers and none of them get sick? I checked my tube of Colgate Total yesterday and found both propylene glycol and glycerine...
