I'm sticking at 'The Magnificent 7' for wood mods. I do have 1 more coming, which if I really like it (probably will, ONE of these will have to go). I've lost my mind this past month for mods, and I just can't keep doing it.

Donnah, that's a gorgeous cocobola. Til I got this one, I really didn't understand the big deal about them... NOW I do!! Wish I'd had gone for those when the woodvils were out too. You did great!

No... the bottom is a custom bottom feeder I had made, and the top you see lots of is the RBA top from my last Coop, it's an A6

GG- have you looked into an A6S for your next coop? already a bottom-feeder. just needs the cap drilled.

I'm not allowed to do the A6 RBA's in Coops anymore... they resemble the ERA too closely... which is pretty ironic, since I personally think that it IS the ERA that got renamed (like the Phoenix, the Octopus, etc... all of which happen to be the same basic A6s someone else renamed again). It's a which came first, the chicken or egg debate... But I don't want to get beaten up again over it, so I'll shut up now

Doesn't the fact that the A6S (thanks for identifying the cap, btw) come natively as a bottom feeder remove the resemblance? Or are folks that crazy over the issue?

It's not natively a bottom feeder, no, and the top isn't drilled for it. What it IS is a shorter A-7.
However, I have already had a full bottom feeder made for me that's drilled like the original Cyclone bottom feeders, except with a lip to hold my preferred cotton bed w/ nano coils (this because I like the ability to use it as a dripper also). And I can swap tops around for it. I just have several A6's left that I bought with the last coop, and I like the cute top look, so I use them on my custom bottom feeder bottoms too.
Mine's got 3 posts for dual coils or singles... and if I feel like it, I can wrap quad coils too. Been thinking about putting some in the Classies or ask about Coop for them... but I have a Coop interest thread going already right now for the 18 Arhat. I might later on for those interested.
Have to agree, those caps are simple and elegant. I'll have to keep an eye out in the coops since I'd like a few.

Emonty, you never cease to amaze me with the amazing mods you show from time to time. To simply "like" this, is not sufficient. Yes, I'm jealous. This is amazing, remarkable, fantastic --- and I swoon.......and I'm sure it has some high tech inside, too.
Minxy and Delsy are lonely.
