I need a new mod to use at work and this will be perfect..

Slot
You're going to love the Touchwood!

Just has a fantastic feel, and looks outstanding.

Old world charm!

I'll 2nd that ... great mod, you will be very happy with it .. I've got the 18650 and am on the list for a Mini.

What Shel said + for me the best part is it hits harder than most 3.7's due (I assume) to the brass plates conducting electricity so well.

When the Touchwood 18650 was on it's way to me, I ordered two 4.8v NiMh batteries, and charger. I figured that I really wanted/needed 5v vaping.

I've been using the 4.8v batteries with the TW, and boge 3.0's and it works great. However, battery life sucked. I mean, I get about an hour, hour and a half. Followed by SIX to SEVEN hours to recharge?!?

Just put my AW IMR 18650 batteries in my Touchwood last night, and 2.0 boges.

Wow!

I'm REALLY amazed at the vap production! I'm going to see what the battery life is with the AW 18650's, and use only the TW 18650 for today.

Not to belabor the point... but the look, the FEEL of this Touchwood in your hand is really nice! It just feels right... much nicer to look at and hold then any tube mod that I've seen!

I'm actually debating with myself wether or not to sell my ProVari. Only thing I use it for recently is checking the ohms on cartos, and battery life on my 18650 batteries! I could probably buy some cheap meter for that.

Not knocking the ProVari... I've used it and loved using it for over a year, but the Touchwood just really shines!

Hey Shel ..

I think between the 2 of us (ok, ok, others too ... wow, so sensitive) singing it's praises, we've probably managed to increase the wait period for a Touchwood by another week or so, lol.

But, hey, it's all good. Some mods are worth the wait and this one sure is.

Other cool features:

I like to carry me mods in the back pocket of my jeans - the shape of the Touchwood is not only hand friendly, it is also '....-cheek friendly'.

Plays well with Tanks.

Although it doesn't have an master on-off switch, it doesn't really need one either. The placement of the button - nice button - on top pretty much eliminates any accidental firing issues.

Made from well aged re-claimed wood .. no living trees were harmed in the making of this mod.

Made in Wales from Australian wood that was part of a Train in it's former life ... how cool is that !!

The 6 weeks will pass (which reminds me, my Mini should be ready soon - woo hoo) and then comes the fun part :)

You might want to pick up a Cape Cod Polishing Cloth to keep the brass nice and shiny (they're cheap) !

Official Site of Cape Cod® Polish Company,Inc.

Cape Cod metal Polishing Cloths Package of 2. NEW on eBay!

And when the Touchwood arrives remember to insert the 18650 battery negative end first, or nipple pointing down (if you prefer to think of it that way, *winks*). And, as always, your battery is your mod so buy the best (AW Red's)!
