Regular on a 3.0 Ohm Boge.

That looks great. I'm going to have to check those out now.

I was using the resurrectors before I got my vv devices. Then I tried boge because they came in higher resistance. But they also were very short and my tanks were long. So I cut some of my tanks down and tried them but they just won't wick well for me. Even with 2 or more holes, I was constantly having to take dry pulls to get the juice to wick. I gave up and went back to the resurrectors.. they are xxl (45mm) and fit in the dc tanks, they are pretty easy to punch compared to the boge and they wick very well. Since they are xxl, I don't have to refill the tank near as often. I buy mine by the 3-pack at ccv and they have all worked well.. but these last 2 cartos, for some reason they want to start out at 1.7 and then start to climb. One is now metering 2.5 and the other I'm using is metering 2.1. That's what so great about having a Provari..I can tell exactly what is going on and adjust for it :D

I know people talk about not getting the full range of volts when using a vv device with a LR carto but I don't need the full range, when the carto meters 1.7, I don't go over 4.1v or it starts burning. I've seen where boge is now making an xxl carto and also smoktech is making an xxl HR carto, but they haven't hit the US stores yet and I'm not going to pay that much in shipping to try them. I usually buy my stuff from Andrew at ccv, so if or when he gets them, I'll try them.

I do have some smoktech duals but I've always heard that dual coils don't do well in tanks and the only one I did try in a tank kept flooding despite anything I did. I like them but probably won't buy anymore and/or use them in a tank.

Thanks again Donna..

The smoketech duels don't do well for me either. The boge's make me scratch my head though. I don't really have any problems with them wicking in tanks. I've tried sloting & they actually flood. I'm probably slotting to deep but.. I just punch two hole's & they wick very well. It's strange because of every thing I've read about them. Also, all I vape is 100% vg. I just use a 1/4" saddle valve & give it 1 good turn after it pops.

I did break down & order the 45mm boges but they are hung up at customs since the 11th :(. Wish they'd hit here already. I trying my hardest not to shave a tank. I did email COV & they are looking into them. Surely they'll be around soon.

Gotta report back on those 45mm boges when you get them. Interested in them as well. Have had no wicking issues with my standard boges, just one hole does it for 80/20. But I would like to grab a bigger tank with the 45mm if they work well.

As for them being in held up in customs... what? Did they think they were special ammunition shell casings?

OK, Just read the whole thread drooling over the set ups. I just ordered a Provari this morning and was wondering if the 1.7 flanged, pre-punched cartos will work on the Provari or will I need an extension?? I ordered several of these to try, but found out quickly that they will not work on my Icon without an extension.

yes, they will work without an extension. Congrats on your purchase! I love mine and am finding myself using it more and more over my other vv devices. Even though my other mods are vv, they have the wheel adjuster for the voltage and I have to use the voltmeter to see what is going on. Adjusting voltage isn't easy because a tiny turn of the wheel can send the voltage too high or too low. I've been taking a vv box mod to work with me because of the size, but with my last 2 cartos going up in resistance for some reason, I'm getting a weak vape and can't wait to get home to put the carto on the Provari to see what is going on. The ability to quickly and easily (and accurately) check the ohms of my cartos has spoiled me and saved me a lot of frustration.

I'm going to have to try the boge again. Maybe my problem was not filling them before putting them in a tank. Now that I'm not in the "searching for something that will work" mode I'm trying new stuff. I ordered an acorn tank from parksvaping to try using a non filler type carto in a tank. I tried ce2's a few month ago and didn't like them because I couldn't see the juice level and had to fill with a syringe. I also tried some new juices. I don't care much for KBV pecan pie but I love the fiddle faddle. I thought I had ordered some boba's bounty but it never came so I went to the site to see what was going on and there was no record of my order and they haven't charged my debit card  I guess I hit the wrong button or something. I don't think I'll reorder.

Tell you Monday !

I posted the other day about which tank for the Mini and was bullied mercilessly into going to the Phiniac site.

Now Hummingbirds are still a novelty to me and am enamored by them. The first tank I set my eyes on had a hummer on it so I bought it.

I may have used artistic license with the bullied mercilessly by the way. More kindly suggested but that doesn't sound as good :D

Ha, that's awesome. Let us know what you think. I have a liquinator and a mom and pops right now that work fantastic. My first was a j tank that was made wrong the cartos wouldn't fit through no matter how hard i tried. The company was a douche to me about returning it so I consider it a loss. I mean customer service is a big thing to me. I had a little trouble with a refurbished vv box mod i ordered a while back. The guy sent me a new new one no questions asked, didn't even wait for me to send the old one which I did promptly. Great guy with good character.
