The tube may not have their decal on it because at first we told them we'd rather have it completely clean of any writing on the outside of it as usually when they do it it looks cheesy. But as we looked at it we warmed up to it and changed our mind so They may have had a few where they started not to put the decal on outside and thats how that probably slipped through without a decal.

Cool that explains it LOL

Yes the attys you get in the unit are a wide bridge SMOKtech 2.5 ohm atomizer. Wide bridge is of course what most vapers see as an improvement but in this case it may not be as compatible with the SmartCarts because of the issue you brought up. In that case you would just want to keep an atty in rotation that you use for the allowance of a SmartCart.

I prefer the larger bridge, I have no problem using a different atomizer when I'm smartcarting it...OMG thats two for two. You see it's a bit of a curse but when something doesn't work I'm compelled to figure it out, I can't just say oh well something is wrong...I need to find out. I do the same figuring out how something works. I'm a wealth of information granted most of it is useless LOL

I actually have a titanium one in my office I used for photography when we had the release of these. So I can send you the tube and cone from that : )...and you can ever say that your Titanium one is a celebrity...:)...your order did have black on it, thats why we sent it to you, but go ahead and keep it as a spare.

Really? Oh wow THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH...I will own the OFFICIAL Got Vapes special e-power, that's so nice of you Double D..The only one on the site was black, I think I stuck it in my cart before you posted the titanium one very sorry

No actually I had spoke to them a week ago about this because I had read another vendor was having problems with a lower pin and we wanted to be prepared just in case, so he was in process of sending us a few extra in case. I just got on to remind him to get it in our latest shipment of dual coils - I actually talk to him via skype every night for long periods of time in between everything else.

Our ePOWERS were manufactured AFTER they were tipped off from another vendor so my rep, who is actually one of the general managers there and part of development team, actually went on factory floor as our order was being processed and he said he personally made sure they were ok (but as will happen a number of the pre-fixed ones slipped in)...we had a shipment going out and I asked him/reminded him to make sure the replacement switches were in the shipment a few nights ago. We've sold about 60+ of these and only received 2 emails including yours about connection problems. So seems like it wasn't widespread, etc...

No rush to ship back, I'll send you a switch and when you get it you can send the other back...

No problem I will return it. I'm going into town tomorrow, you will probably receive it at about the same time you receive the replacement parts. I know both you Chris at Got Vapes take alot of pride in your company's reputation for ONLY the best will do, just yesterday on youtube I responded to someone who was irrate that the proposed release date for the Vortex was delayed (Due to issues) I responded by saying I would gladly wait for a product that is perfect and up to the high standards of Got Vapes, then receive a product that is substandard just so I got something , good things come to those that wait. As for the SMOKtech I have no boubt in my mind they are going to rock the vaping world, the design and pricing of this 3.7 Mod device is simply FANTASTIC, finaly a affordable Mod has hit the market. I'm well aware how difficult it is for a new company to not only design but manufacture on a large scale. As you stated they tested it out on their brand of products which have a longer stem, that explains it, this issued was just a lve and learn lesson what every new business encounters.

Last Note: I just wanted to clarify the post I wrote. I purposely played Devils Advocate it was meant as constructive criticism. The American consumer is demanding they also tent to kill the messenger, were conditioned to blame the merchant not the manufacturer. I asked in you would talk to them because I think this e power Mod is going to take off, well it already has and a simple design flaw can ruin the reputation of the company along with the vender who sold it...It was my hopes to prevent this and I can't thank you enough your professionalism it is refreshing. I'm so pleased they have realized and are in the process of correcting before too many got out. Having my own business I too dealt with specific manufacturing company who I felt had the same honor, pride in product, and moral that myself my partner and my company were known for, your reputation in the sales world is a key factor for success

i just got my e-power in today!!!! LOVING IT!!!!!! It is so consistent!!!! WOW! (cant even type lol had to type wow three times there lol) I am jsut so excited...it works great...got a big bottle of liquid coming tomorrow so i can try the turbine on it.
the e-power worked right out of the box! it's lasted me 3 hours so far and i have the other battery charging now to full. and it keeps going! Thanks so much dan for putting out such a great product! i cant wait till it comes out with variable voltage or other battery sleeves! this is consumer modding at its best! now i dont have to fret about whether i purchased the right pv b/c now i can upgrade when it gets better. So thank you dan and thank you smok tech!
...now i am gonna vape to my hearts content!
just a context for all this...
i have been vaping with an njoy npro2n1 xpress for 3 months now and no analogs. now i have freedom to go and not worry about my battery dying on me. also i got another bonus! the very first ecig i got which was an overpriced mall kiosk super cigarette...is 510 threaded! yay! the atty died on that one after 2 weeks...so now i have abattery that's discreet if i want but i doubt i will use it much b/c i wanna wave this e-power around like it's a flag!!!!
ok enough gushing...vape on...

lol thankies noodoggy...did I speak with you on the phone? I remember someone who was needing to upgrade form sort of a starter kit...

Yeah the nice thing with that set up is you have options as they inroduce things such as a VV switch, etc...you can buy an extra set up with that also...on the site we have spare kits for all three colors in both 14650 battery and 14500 battery configs...

i didnt speak with you on the phone but we did pm cuz i was chekcing about the extender b4 i ordered but didnt even wait for you to answer lol good thing it came in today b/c i was really hurting on battery life with my njoys. could barely get a half hour out of it....but its no worries now! i will probably pick up the spare parts kit in a few weeks when i get my tax return and maybe even snag some more stuff too. looking to try the vortex! and i will chime in tomorrow when i get the turbine tried out on the e-power....if that works great, my pockets will be so empty from here on out! lol carrying bottles and chargers and spare batteries is a pain i tell ya! lol one quick question: what is the recommended lowest resistance for an atty on the e-power? i would like to try to get a little warmer throat hit. i see these came with 2.5ohm...would 2.0 or so be okay to use with the e-power? thanks for all your help! and for carrying such a great product!

Yes 2.0 is fine, below that can be iffy but many people report still beign able to use a LR atty on them with no problems. The caveat is the PCB might see it as an overload and simply won't work on them, the other is a LR will suck more power from it, etc but that just means you swap out batteries possibly more often.

thanks for the fast reply! the battery use is no biggie...i am used to poor battery life lol but i just wouldnt want to fry my new baby! lol i will probably try to change my juice concentration first, b/c i just switched to 50/50 to see what it was like. might go back to 75pg/25vg and see how that compares. also...still gotta try the turbine! but as is....i am so satisfied for a long while! and then i am sure that little virus that is going around will bite me and i will have to buy something to raise it up a notch.
thanks again and keep up the great work!

Danno,

Why was I not notified by email that the new switches have arrived? Also, what is the exact proceedure for replacing the stupid switch?

I have a 510 extension that allows the epower to work with the shorter, standard attys, but it is my bleeping extension that I paid for with my bleeping dollars.

I also have one dead battery for my ePower. What is the replacement policy?

Tony, the replacements have not arrived...

If you have a battery that died I'll see what I can do. Please PM me about things like this or send an email...

your post here was the first I had heard about an e-power for 14500 batteries. I looked at your site and see that you sell a 'spare kit for 14500's' but will just the tubes be available? I'm assuming its the same switch etc. It looks like the same size tube, so it's just the spring that is added to make it fit the 14500 battery? (I have 6 brand new 14500 batteries that I'm not using on anything is why I ask)

Here, there, everywhere!
Hi DA - I spoke with manufacturer directly in the factory tonight. Chris and I take seriously if there are any issues as we have to deal with customer service and it takes alot of our time if there are issues so we do try to stay on top of things and we are usually up in the wee hours solely so we can communicate with China because of the time difference. But I told him that many people are happy with them but there are obviously issues with some of these for some people - that they get hit and miss on some attys or cartomizers and, that this shouldn't be, so I understand what you are saying and I do full-heartedly agree with that.

He showed me on cam that they did lift the pins but I told him obviously we have some that were still with the old batch with the lower pins, not all, so he is going to send some replacement switches with the adjusted pin length from their most recent manufacturing runs so, in case you are having these problems, we can exchange. We already were in the process of getting an extra padding of these to do this but I asked him to try to make sure he gets these in our latest shipment of stock going out today.

So hopefully in 3-4 days we can exchange it out for you. We do need the old ones back, they are asking us to send so they can check the situation. And we _want_ to send them back so they can understand any issues, it will cost us a bit to send back to China but we really believe in the product and we have had some great initial reaction and reviews on it but we want it to be refined to be the best it can be of course. They actually take enormous pride in what they do at SMOKtech, they are a young and eager company that is innovating and very into their product. I've rarely seen a Chinese e-cig company take so much pride in what they do as you can attest in something as little as the packaging for this product. They have even hired us to basically help them make some promotional videos for some of their products - they seem very much different than many e-cigartee suppliers on the mainland. This product has only been out about a month and sometimes these things do need refinement in an early stage.

Just one note of interest, they couldn't hardly believe some people had issues and I found out why. They mainly tested with their dual coil cartomizer and their own atties. The stem for their 510 connection is a little longer than you see with many 510 connections so they sort of had it adjusted for that when they were tooling and testing these.

Way to go DA - I really hadn't read all the way through this thread yet (still haven't) but great find!!!! Kudos to you - so now are they going to send you something purple to do a test run on - you could do reviews with them before they introduce new stuff!!!!

Sure--the spring is larger to accomodate your 14500 batteries--the spare kit includes a tube, switch and a cone, all ready for your batteries...nice thing with it is if you ever get 14650 batteries it will work with those too (just have to use a little more force to insert them)

I have an e-power 14650 kit, was hoping that just the 14500 tube would be available, but maybe when I get some more $$ I will just order the spare kit. The e-power is probably the ONLY PV I have bought (and I have bought plenty) that works every time, works perfectly, and doesn't require me to futz around to get it to work. e-power with a dual coil cartos is just vaping heaven =)
