I'm running a little ahead of you in my confused state. Before I thinned the juice I took off the drip tip to see what was going on during squeezies. When it seemed like I was applying a lot of pressure to the bottle and I thought nothing was happening, it actually was feeding to the atty - but very slowly. It was taking a lot of pressure to feed that VG. The atty seemed to be getting liquid, but it still didn't taste right - like it was slightly harsh/burnt - still not getting enough liquid.
BTW: Yes, I did prime it from the top before starting. A lot more than Vapage said was necessary. (But hey? What have they right in these instructions so far?)
After thinning it's feeding much better and any harshness is gone. (Along with quite a bit of flavor...) I'll accept it as part of the learning process for now.
The deal with the Vapage instructions: They make a big deal about that tilting and watching for bubbles bit "priming the system" and filling the mysterious "transfer port". Then they say when you tip upright and squeeze whatever is in the mysterious "transfer port" gets "sent into the system." I believe "the system" is supposed to be the atty here.
Do they have to make it sound more complicated than it really is? You're saying there are no mystery ports & chambers - it's just a plain in-line tilty squeezy feedy system? Like a Vision Aurora - except much huger.
