Well I'm midway into my first vape day with my 2.0 and surprised. I got 7 hours off the first charge of the vapage batteries. The itty bitty tank lasted that long too. What a releif after those juice guzzlin' dual coils. This lasted 3x's longer than the Aerotank Mega with no reduction in vapor or flavor.

 But omg it is TINY. I need to tether it somehow or it gets lost in my purse (ok, some people call bags like mine "weekenders"). Seriously, my pack of gum is larger. I lost it in an interior pocket! This is the most pocket-friendly mod I've seen (fits in the bra too). Changing the battery wasn't that big of a hassle either. Good buy.
:thumb:

Now I wish that 50% off sale wasn't over or I'd be tempted to get the larger one also. It'd be nice to have something as lightweight that could last all day.

This just made me laugh and smile! My purses must have smaller inside pockets as I've never lost one in there.

Yup. Lost it again in the interior pocket last night. Ended up emptying half the thing (purse) out before my hands found it. ARGH, these first world problems, right? I am going to have to get something to attach to it. I'd like to find a little leather slip case with a belt clip on it. Well actually, my first preference would be finding clothes with POCKETS, but that's a lost cause.
:vapor:
Anyway, the real reason I came in here was this video ...

Anyone try 14250's?

Yes -- but I do not recommend stacking batteries vertically. It was way to hot for me and they didn't last very long, too. I doubt one can even find those lower voltage batteries anymore either.

It's been a long time since I've seen that video. I think it was the first one Vaping Monkey ever did. He was one enthusiastic young man back then.

Several have made cozies or pouches for vmods, but I don't have any pictures to help you out. I had a spare wrist strap from an old camera and used to attach it to the chimney, under the cone. That could easily be fastened to a lobster clasp or hook attached to the bag.

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Agree with tearose. And that IS and old vid.

I DID try the double stack batts and it was a nitemare. One vape was good, then it was way too hot. I'm also totally NOT comfortable with stacking batteries. I don't even have those batts anymore. No way.

Here on ECF it's always recommended not to do so.

Pockets? What's that. I'm a pajama girl.

I knew it was old, still talking about propietary atty.

Well sad news. The little black dial / switch fell out and I've put it back but it keeps falling out and misfires. Bummed. It didn't feel like anything broke ...? I get attached to my mods too easily.

 PJ's? ok, picture men's thrift store pj's (cause funnier patterns and POCKETS), rolled up with my secret for soft washed scrub tops cause they have POCKETS (also cute patterns/colors) = my hi-fasion, weekend classy, getting stuff done (in the house) look. Makes me happy.

:(

Be careful. Hopefully you're able to put it back and it stays on fine. I kept starring at mine, doesn't look too complex.

Was there anything on the switch/button that looks broken or missing?

Nope. Nothing. I actually grabbed it quick because it didn't pop back up and was firing the battery like it was stuck on. The spring appears fine. Looks 100% mechanical. I'm giving myself this weekend to fiddle with it before contact Vapage. I'm sure it's a fluke but right now it's not firing more than it is. I'm pretty sure I don't have it on right and that's why it's pushing the battery off center and slightly out of the holder. Chances the right twist will do it.

The world needs more current reviews on YouTube!

Oh nooooo!

Yes, it is 100% mechanical, but I am clueless on this issue and am not even sure where to look. If there is anything it would be in the original v1 thread. A gal there was amazing with handling any problem that ever came up. I do think what you did sounds about right.

On occasion I would have a sticky button -- and I just reversed the battery. Yes, it is OK to do so with the vmod. This is not true for all mods, even mechanicals, for some reason.

The good news is that you can send it in for a replacement....but that's no fun.

Guess what? My on/off button FELL OFF today. On a vmod that has seen very little use. (it's not that old, my oldest one I don't have anymore and I dragged it around everywhere with me.) This one, stayed in the house, upright on the counter, never even got thrown into my purse.

well, I"m not buying another one. I can't afford it. Can I just crazy glue the on/off button back on? I never looked to see how it attaches/engages.

If I can't then you guys will soon see all my 14500 batteries and my no-longer-made rubberized cover for the vmod 2.0 in the classies

I have said lately that I am slowly quitting vaping "thru attrition". As things break, I don't replace them, and pretty soon I won't own any vaping equipment

What the! Oh no!

What's going on?! Mine is still attached but I cannot tell how it's being held on. :T

It just looks like it's sitting on the spring and that's it.

Maybe you can contact their customer service? Hopefully they can help :X

So true! First time I used a protank II I went thru more juice than I usually go thru in a week in one day......then the protank 3, I was like huh? There is no way I actually VAPED all that, I have been vaping for 2 years and never ever vaped more than 3ml. with these tanks going thru 6+ ml a day.

Bottom feeders are much better than clearomizers for sure!

I'm saying this honestly, and with no malice: I know more about the vmod than anyone in customer service. That is true, anyone who knows how long I've used vmods knows this. :)

above the spring there is simply a platform. It is just a flat peice of round metal. That is all that I can see that the on/off button "sat" on. Obviously it has to engage on the sides of that area somewhere, or it wouldnt have the ability to turn on and off. So if I glue it down to that platform, it's going to stay in the ON position permanently.

Admittedly, the on/off button is not something I've never had to troubleshoot.........til now

Gee Desert Willow. Sorry for not getting back to you a lot sooner.

I didn't buy any, but I do recall a trick I've done several times for various mods, including the VMod.

Have you ever heard of pulling the pin? Just carefully pulling that up a hair should make it work. The only reason it wouldn't is if it isn't touching the connector part at the bottom.

Ah ha -- I just remembered. When my XL was new I had to screw the atty on what was beyond my normal finger tight point. Another 1/2 a twist might do the trick. As the threads get used a few times this becomes unnecessary and you will usually be able to tell when the atty bottom touches the right spot.

Some have said that turning the screw slot down there seems to help, but Vapage has confirmed that it really just spins.

You are awesome! An extra 1/2 turn when tightening the atomizer working fine!

I had never attempted pulling the pin. I am not quite sure that I even know where the pin is exactly, so I didn't try that. Thankfully, I didn't even have to try that, tightening the atomizer past my comfort level worked just fine.

Thanks so much!

Great news.

Sure glad I remembered.

Ages ago I saw a wonderful video on how to pull a pin -- and haven't located it in a long time. There are a few methods, but the video was what I needed to "get it". It's a good thing for a vaper to learn as occasionally it comes in handy.
