Well .... I took the bait and ordered the XL. How could I not? Discounts and the sale put it under $35 including shipping. Whoohoo. I kept looking around and I've been spoiled. I'd much rather change out an atty on these than mess with tanks. Just so dang easy!!! The baby one didn't last long enough so I got the XL (I already have 18650 batteries).

Then there's Vapage. I'm trying really hard here. I get a little envelope with bottles, orings, etc and no XL. No response to emails. So off I go to FB and PM'd them, got a response immediatley. Just like before. So Facebook is definatley the way to contact them. They are sending me my XL based solely on my word - thank goodness. There were a bunch of other complaints on their timeline. I'm kinda worried about them as a company. I like contacting them through FB now. It's a great device and the discounts are hot!

Is anyone else retailing the Vmod?

Now I've got the tought job of picking out a wrap for it.

Well it's kinda late now since my XL is on it's way and I don't need 2. At these prices, the last couple of XL's I've seen on the classies sold pretty quick. There should be another discount for the mini's showing up eventually - but they don't seem to go on sale as often. The mini's are handy. There's enough difference between them that I thought I might use both.

So do the " super shorty " cartomisers mentioned way back at the start of this thread feed from the bottom in a VMod, or do they need cutting or drilling or otherwise modding?

No cutting or drilling needed. The only time that was needed was long long time ago with the original little v1. Xl and vmod2 will feed fine with any standard diameter carto.

Sell it in the classies and buy a vmod2.0. The XLs actually sell better in the classies than the 2.0s anyway. Seems most vapers like longer batt life these days.

The pro slant coil (shifu) is also made to last longer than other attys. I often used mine for a month or more, with regular use.

I had one that went 5 months. :) Although I do care for mine, cleaned at end of day, dotted w/a drop of VG to keep moist and *never* dry-burned. (yeah, I'm one who believes while that cleans the wicks, it also weakens the coils).

Can't fault the Vapage Hybrid atty......you can buy 3-4 of them for the price of an HH357.

I also use just plain 'ol boge or smoketech cartos in my vmod as well.

    THEY HAVE BEEN DOING INVENTORY.

I talked to them yesterday. They got behind on shipping as a result.

Well I want to give Vapage kudos.....they redeemed themselves.

It appears there were a few customers who had new orders held up during the inventory shuffle, and they have been sent both apology as well as a gift.

I'm glad I was polite and patient now, otherwise I'd be feeling sheepish.

I guess I must like the little vmod, I've stuck w/this company thru thick and thin for over 2 years now.

I may try to sell it, never sold in the Classies before
What's a fair price for a XL VMOD that's been used less than a week?

My order came really fast :?:

The Vmod mini a La Carte kit is on sale now for $42.50
    VMOD A La Carte Silver

Same price as the XL. I haven't checked my inbox for xtra discounts.
I think I read in Joker's blog that pricing is based on current retail / whatever you paid +/- condition, extras and that sort of stuff. His blog was updated a few weeks ago about pricing so it might be a good read.

Do a search on SOLD and see. If you are not including the hybrid atty and carto, and/or batts, you have to adjust price. You could also just put OBO after your price, as well as make it a fs/ft and see i you can get a trade

Huh? I didn't know I could do that, thanks :)

You probably ordered before or after the shipping problems started then.
    Last week.

The closed/sold classifieds are here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/closed-sold-classified-threads/

Do two searches - one on Vmod and another on Vapage to make sure you see what's what.

I'm seeing $50.00-ish for either kit, fully outfitted. When asking prices go north of that they largely seem to just sit there.

Thanks Rick! That's about what I was thinking, and including a few silo's...
I prefer the atomizers anyway :)
Just enough to cover another junior

Yes Aik, I think I have to have two of everything

Despite my judgement, I just bought a VMod at the sale price. Still can't afford the Reo just yet. My Nemi clone is problematic and faulty, so a VMod should last me until I get the Reo. I'm still not happy about it though.

What aren't you happy with? It's not a REO but it's got a few things I like better than a REO such as the cone that keeps it from leaking with atomizers. You can still use a dripper with them but I find these easier.

I also wanted to let people know there's a new thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-systems/612502-bottom-feeding-atomizers.html

There's another thread I've been following for a 3d printed bf mod "that can be assembled at the kitchen table". It's cute. Not the standard box. I'm not so sure it's that simple, yet although they are sourcing the stuff for it now.

So, I have had a VMOD since around january or december 2013.....I loved mine the minute I saw it and used it for a long time (it was my first ever mod of any kind :) A friend gave it to me brand new with silo cartomizers and atomizers) After the cartomizers and atomizers ran out that came with it I started using my smoketech cartomizers, but I noticed that my VMOD did not work as well and sometimes not at all with them as they did with the ones that are meant for it. Anyone else notice this or have this issue? To explain better: when I put my smoktech cartomizers on ghe VMOD and push the fire button nothing happens....I did find that if I twisted the Smoktech cartomizers on and stopped before twisting them on completely they would work. I figured I would ask you guys who seem to know alot about the VMOD if you have experienced this :) Thank you :)
