fasttech Cobra (DiD clone)

No documentation so.... but for $8, I dunno if you can beat this. Seems to be the same size as my other DiD clone (3ml), it has a clear tank, no idea what it's made out of. I don't vape much that would hurt plastic though whatever it is. Came with two pre rolled wicks and maybe a foot of kanthal, and of course another hex wrench.

It had one of the wicks already in it with a coil, looked like it had 9 wraps on the coil. Crappy job too. I didn't even test it, I just undid it and made it 5, cut off the excess. Came in at 1.5 ohms. Works about like my other one. Shoot, the two wicks and the wire would cost you $4 or so.

Put some Shadow in it, tastes great. The drip tip sucks, but I got plenty of those.

$8.52 Cobra Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Atomizer - w/ hex wrench at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I had a coupon that got it down to $8 even. Free shipping.

Can't beat that. I think I might pick up a couple of them. Thanks.

Check out the stainless drip tip version for $3 more. I don't remember seeing that when I ordered. This one is fine, but you might like the nicer drip tip.

Also, if you get one, and it doesn't fire ("OP" on your Provari when you check the ohms)....

I had to loosen all 3 nuts and push the center pin down a little and re-tighten. It was too far up in the body. No big deal.

I'm really sorry to post this so late but I just found out...24 hour sale, May 1st

Sigelei Kick Clone Pre-order $15.00 at White Stag Vapor

I had just enough money left on my card to order that with 30 minutes to spare before May 2nd.
Good thing I found enough work this week to keep from eating ramen noodles!
I wonder if I can kick a Saber Touch? I'll have to ask Sir Lawrence.
If not, I'm going to have a kicked flashlight mod.
Who the heck would kick a flashlight mod? Schnarph would, that's who!

Still on for $15 according to the site. Maybe it's a mistake, but it is still up right now.

I just met a new animal tonight. It's an Octopus!
Being my first RBA I went cheap, but it beats the pants off what I was using. With 8 tentacles no less.

Do any of you have opinions on the Drunker Tank?

There's a whole thread on ECF for the Drunker Tank. People like them, but I chose not to
get one because it has a ceramic cup that can go bad, and it could be hard to find a new
one - especially after the vaping apocalypse.

I read that thread. I also thought about the ceramic cup. The replacement heads come with a new cup, I guess they expect it to go bad eventually. I was thinking of it more as Vision Vivi Nova competition, the price is not that far off. I suppose an AGA T2, IGA, or fancier RBA would be the better choice for longevity. I don't have any of these things, so pardon my ignorance.

After the vaping apocalypse there will be much more important things to worry about than bad ceramic cups, but there's no point in adding to the problem. I think I just talked myself into a new shopping list for the future. :)

Anyone else have experience with both the v1 and v2/v2.5 ProVari? I've had a v1 that I bought off a friend for well over six months now, and just picked up a Mini (v2) from the classies a couple weeks ago. When I bought the v1, all he had were 18650s so I bought brand new AW IMR 18490s for it since I thought it was way too big with the 18650s. I was usually able to get most of a day out of one battery, sometimes less, never more. My Mini didn't come with batteries, so again I bought some brand new AW IMR 18350s from the same place as I bought the 18490s. I checked the battery when I left for work yesterday and it metered at 3.8V. Used the Mini all day with that battery and I'm still using it this morning. I'm blown away... did the v2 get way more efficient in addition to the higher amp limit? I'm using the same resistance cartos at the same voltage on both.

Not a complaint, just an observation. :D

I think I've settled in with my REOSMods. Love the durablilty, and I think Rob nailed it with the RM 2.0 RBA. Roomy, easy to rebuid/ use, and durable enough to handle life on the road. Squonking is foolproof now. REOS and HHV- A Winning Combination !

One day PopPop. One day. :)

Not sure if the Provari became more efficient or not Dave. I use only the 18650 battery on mine. It lasts a good long while. I have the V2.

Lovin' my VMOD XL with AMG Hybrid atty. Only thing I need for that now are more spare tanks (for swapping flavors out) and maybe a couple more attys. Although, so far these attys are holding up real well.:vapor::toast:
