@Dusty: I tried double wrap with a 3mm ekowool, it is way too thick, I managed to put alll the wicks in the chamber and it jammed, no airflow...how you managed to do that.

@Bronze: I watched that video, good one, I was so exited that I went immediately to a local supermarket, suprise, they dont have coton....what the...

I used 3mm silica, not ekowool. :) I've got one in my K-lite right now and it's working beautifully.

I also did a doubled up 2mm ekowool on one of my RSST's and that's working great too. I don't want to touch either of these..

Few more to build in the next few days. Another RSST, AGA-T+, 3 or 4 drippers.

The boiled ekowool is also working well with no aftertaste.

Leo..agree, those low air holes have got to be one of the dumber things I've seen on e-cig gear. Also, get yourself an M7 (0.5mm) die and clean up all your atty threads when you receive them. It spares the threads on your PV s. The die can be got for $5 - $10 on ebay.

tnt...glad to hear you're on the upswing. Why the supermarket does not carry cotton balls is beyond me. What else to Parisian supermarkets not sell?

Awesome suggestion... didn't even occur to me to get one.

I wrecked a Lavatube connector with those cheap Chinese clearomizers with their crappy threads and non-existent QC. I put an end to that business and got me a die and clean up everything I get. Though I didn't with my Kayfun figuring the Germans machined it precisely and all my die would do is make it worse. I was right. It felt like butter when I threaded it on the first time. Germans don't make crap. But the Chinese? ....

Quick Vamo update. Used the Evod yesterday and a carto today. I think it's hitting great. The battery life is better and the top isn't getting hot like it was. I think the bad ground and small wires were the problem with the power and battery lasting and misfires were the button. It's an SS so if it has to come apart again I'll change the way the ground is to make it better.;)

That's what I've always used to make coils. It just felt right :)

I use the shank on one of my jeweler's screwdrivers. It's 2.0mm. I realized that not many people have the ability to measure small lengths like that so I thought informing folks that 5/64ths of an inch is just about 2.0mm would be useful to them. 2.0 mm inside diameter is a good size for cotton ball wick.
