Reporting back in..

K-Lite performed flawlessly all day today with the mini coil I built last night. No drop in flavour taste or vapor production. Wicking is also perfect. No dry hits, and no gurgles.

I'm not going to touch it for the next day or two and see how she does.

/me is a happy camper. :)

I wouldn't monkey with it until it gives you good reason. :)

Dumb Question for tonight- Is the svoemesto just a European ProVari ?
I started a Poll for Equipment in the General E-Smoking Forum and the SvoeMesto is getting a lot of chatter. At first glance it looks like a Stainless Steel Battery Tube with an advanced chip circuitry. What am I missing here ?

SvoeMesto is the designer of the Kayfun and the Semovar (the mod you're referring to). It's been around for about a year and is in its third revision. It still uses the Nivel chip, which is a bit outdated. Regulated to 15 watts or 3-6 volts. I wouldn't compare it to the Provari. Its use of the Nivel makes it popular with the European market since that particular PCB comes out of Russia and has been around longer than any other VW board.

People were just saying Svoemesto Pop so I asked one of them to specify to try and set a precedent. I guess it didn't work. Svoemesto means different things to different people and X just outlined it.

Thanks for the explanation X. I never realized International Markets expanding into Vaping would be such an education....

Nice justification.. :)

Russia, Germany and China in the last little while. The General is getting with the times..

Actually I was just giving Bronze a little dig there. I could be wrong but the whole e-cig concept comes out of China, with Janty being one of the original 'big' vendors. But what do I know....

EDIT: this conversation got me reminiscing of my original E-Cig, a hand-me-down Janty 650 Starter Kit I bought second-hand. I still use one of those batteries to test fire my coils, so I screwed in an old ST 1.5 atty, dripped four drops of Cinful Apple and... nothing. Little vapor, faint taste. To think that's what I started with, and now I'm spoiled by better equipment. I hope starter kits have improved in the last year...
