I think it's funny. I use 3" of wire that will last months and I got a 50' spool.
The "Old reliable" has always worked fine for me too Slim. I really think that's why people do them....for the heck of it.

I accidentally let go of the end of the wire on one of my spools and it sounded like a slinky for one full minute as it unwound.

Ha! I did that the other day. Took me 15 minutes to respool it. I wont make that mistake again.

Haha yeah I've got over 350 feet now of assorted sizes. Last week under 10 feet.. I'm good.

Good luck with that. I've found the aspire does not like the Vamo. And it does not like a lot of power. Drop your watts to 3 and work up. Or if you have a ego bat try it on that. The only way I've gotten it to work is on a ego bat. A spinner or twist set at 4.8v works best. I don't plan on buying any more heads. I just don't care for it.
That's strange I usually run mine at 9-10 watts on the SVD , why it would function differently on a Vamo beats me .
Don't know. I just know it taste burnt and the flavor isn't there on the Vamo. On my spinner it's fine. Go figure.
Odd...I actually vape mine on the Vamo v5 all the time between 7.5-8.5w and I never noticed a burnt taste.
Re-wicking two of my KFL heads tonight. Those coils have been in there forever, or so it seems. Only the cotton gets swapped out. Could not be easier I tell ya..
I think I'm going to get me some organic yarn next week if I get a chance. It's the only medium I've not experimented with yet.
