So I am thinking of getting a new PV. I can not decide for the life of me if I want another VV/VW device or a full blown mod. I have been leaning towards a iTaste SVD or Nemisis Clone by hcigar. I have no interest in doing sub ohm coils, so is there any real benefit to a mod other than not really having to worry about anything breaking?
The only reason I haven't gotten a mech yet is battery life , I'm not into swapping batteries that frequently but I know I'll give into the temptation sooner or later , I have the SVD and I love it , it's got better fit , finish and threading than the vamo plus a spring loaded center pin , I've had no trouble with mine but Bronze's SVD shuts off intermittently and he's getting Fasttech to replace it , for me it's been a solid device and the stainless KFC on top makes a good match .

Thanks retic, the SVD seems like a great candidate for sure. I am leaning towards the Mech as I already have 3 that are vv/vw and sort of looking for something well.....different.

Being a former pipe smoker, I sure have. I have only seen one's in a b/m store about 2hrs from here, and when I tried it out there. It just seemed so heavy and awkward compared to a regular pipe. Maybe they arent all that way and I just got a bad experience right off the bat, but it kind of turned me off on them.

    How about a REO ?

I have looked into those, they sure get rave reviews and all that. I am just kind of deterred on the price for a first time mod. I would rather get a clone of something for around $50 that way if it turns out as something I dont like or want to fiddle with to much I wouldn't be out a ton of money.

Dream from me of course you will the a vote for mechanical. I'm not a sub ohm vapor..just really like my mechs. I sure think the one Bronze got was a sharp looking unit. I still use my Provari every day..and that is one mod that I would replace (or repair) if something went wrong. I just like the idea of having a few mods that should last forever...just in case there is a zombie apocalypse :D

The sizes, styles and configurations are mind blowing!!

P.S - Pipes are mechanical too but come with replaceable Vapesafe fuses in them. ;)

Finally got mailing instructions today. So I'll hit the post office and get it on its way. Gonna probably be a good month or more before I see the replacement. I don't care. I'm not hurting.

Well I'm really disappointed, so far I have to keep the vamo to 5 voltts for the aspire BDC to even taste remotely well. I cleaned out everything and I have tried every possible thing with it and it's still just not tasting very well. On the lower power setting I get almost no vapor and the taste is okay. I'm going to let some of these flavors steep more but 3 of them have steeped for almost two weeks and the other 3 for about a week. I really don't know what to do here I mean I feel like I might of just wasted more money here

Daniel...welcome to the world of Chinese-built crap.

Rule 1 when starting vaping: Don't get down.

Did you get my posts about making sure you are in RMS mode?

Daniel...check this...it's for the V5 which I believe you have...

The VAMO can operate either in Voltage Mode or Power Mode. We find that Power Mode is generally easier for users that switch between different cartomizers and atomizers at different resistances as the VAMO will adjust for that resistance and deliver consistent power to the device.

To set the mode, hold the + and the - buttons down simultaneously for about 2 seconds. The display will show "1.Power Voltage". When you see that display, press the + button. The current setting, either Power or Voltage will display. To change the current setting, press the + button again.

You can now use the + and - buttons to adjust the voltage or the power as described above.

Is that all he has? :D

I am not sure how I done it, but I actually bought juice from there and never noticed the pipe section!!! I got some Oak Barrel Cider, wasnt bad but a little light on taste!!!

Unfortunately it probably will be a month between the holidays and Fng Singapore post , I'm really not happy wit FT's decision on that , HK post usually took 10 days not bad considering it was free .
