KFC is finally in the house!!!! (well, office). 1st impressions... granted, its a clone, but it is still an impressive piece of machinery; lots of parts and bits and things to go wrong. :) And it's a big boy, that's for sure. It's on my 18650'd Vamo, and it looks like a big flashlight. Once my 350s are charged, I'll be shortening that thing down right quick. It was pretty dirty.. threads had a lot of machining goo on them and it took a fair amount of patience to clean out the fill port, which was rather fouled with black dust/shavings. But I got it cleaned up. I threw on a simple wick... 2mm with a 10 wrap 28g.. hand wrapped... nothing fancy. I'll probably go the microcoil/cotton route tonight when I get home. But took a little finesse to get things together... kind of complicated to get everything all squared away. Threads are smooth, everything fits together nicely. OK... filling the bloody thing... My fill bottle has a gauge that is JUST small enough... I can fill it, but it seems to have a tendancy to blow back a bit... but I got it filled and the valve must be doing its job since it isn't leaking. OK, even with the air flow all the way open, it's a wee bit tight... I guess I have to expect that as the air flow I am use to is some rather wide open RDAs... but I think my coil is a little too close to the vent... next time I fill it, I'll take care of that right off. But the vapor and flavor is pretty good. It's not quite as good as my trident clone, but the higher capacity should make up for that I guess. Maybe once I get the coil sorted, it'll improve. I'll say this though, if I was coming from evods, vivis or Protanks, I'd be extremely impressed with it. But I've been vaping on VFTh heavyweights (IGO-l, Nimbus and Trident clones) so for me, it's more the convenience of a tank and no worries about leaks that got my attention. So first impressions: nice bit of kit. Good vapor and flavor and if it doesn't leak, it'll be a nice addition. Maybe it is just me being cheap, but it's a nice rba (?) for $21 but I wouldn't pay 4 or 5 times more for it.
I haven't used the fillport on mine yet , so far the only complaint on mine is crappy screws , the heads are to small so capturing the wire is tricky but I'm gonna replace them with good ss screws , I didn't know what to expect for 21$ but it's been a very pleasant surprise , it's a hefty little rba and it matches quite nicely with my SVD .

I had a little trouble, but my coil was huge... got it in there, but I think I didn't give enough room above the port... I'll check it out when the tank runs dry.

It's nice... I mean, for the price, it's killer... it wasn't that much more than the RDAs I have and it'll work much better for on the go vaping... I won't have to carry around a bottle.

Yup the SVD is a bit bigger than the Vamo it's a mini shillelaigh , wouldn't want to get popped in the head with an SVD with an 18650 in it , it might leave a dent or two .

if you think a Shillelaigh is a bit bigger...................

The REOS mini has a fire button that can twist clockwise to a 'lock' position. Many of the Ladies in REOVille like this feature as they carry their mods in their pocketbooks. With an RM2 RBA, it's about the size of a pack of cigarettes. A mini 2.1, or metal 18490, is about 1/8 of an inch thicker, and carries a slightly larger battery for those whose work long shifts. Around $140, and the RM2 is another $43. Nothing beats the durability of a metal REOS, period.
If you wait two weeks, mini Woodvils will be available. I believe they have an on/off switch recessed into the bottom, and are quite attractive.

Or, you can keep spending $27 two months ago, and $38 this month, and ? three months....

The picture on the left are mine. The small silver one is a mini, the brownish (copper vein) is a mini 2.1, or metal 18490. The larger purple one is a VV Grand, and while it is an excellent PV, it would not be good for 'stealth vaping'.

I like the ones in the second picture... the Zebra wood is sexy, the second looks like Cocobola and Mahogony, next Ebony and Maple, and finally Burly Maple..... Gawd I love my wood!!

I'm with ya Papaw. I'll take a look at the Reo. This is not the set-up I've heard you and Chak banter about squonking? Can't have that..

Got busted at work today (the old office, no worries) when one of the girls said "what's that smell?, I've been noticing it all day". I fessed up to her. Just FYI.. people around you will notice powder keg.

Howdy all. Hope everyone is well.

Bronze, I know you have gotten a neme clone and said your switch was a bit "crunchy" did the magnets take away that crunchiness? I just got one finally and love it. But that's the only thing I have an issue with is the crunchiness of the button. Not bad but I know I can make it smoother.

'Squonking' is a made-up word to describe the act of applying pressure to the onboard juice bottle in a way that moves your e-liquid up to the atty/ clearo/ tank/ RBA. The RM2 is one of many RBA's that are built for bottom feed mods. Once the wicking is soaked with e-liquid (nearly instantly) then you simply stop applying pressure to the onboard bottle and the excess juice flows back down into the bottle.
More info if you look under 'Forum Suppliers' for REOS Mods Forum. Very Nice people there....

It happens only when you press the edge of the button. If you press the middle (or go all the way across the button) then it is OK. It was really bad with the springs and the magnets improved it. It will still stick but not as bad. I've been trained to the point where I know what I have to do to keep it from sticking. The biggest problem is when I put it down and grab my Provari. I keep pushing the bottom of it. Doesn't work that way. :)

I think she knew already. I tried to get one co-worker to make the switch to vaping, telling her about my experience. She told others when she tried it, about her experience and mine.. Once again, don't tell crap you don't want told.

If anyone thinks they can tell one person and have it kept to only that one person...they're fooling themselves. :)

Bronze I do that all of the time:facepalm: I have a variety of mods I like and use daily and the provari mini is always in the mix...but I get mixed up between the buttons. OMG have you seen the bronze provari? If I get another Zen mod sold...that just might show up at my house....
