Well after conversing with JayTater for a couple days. Getting the finances to line up after the cell phone debacle on New Years Eve, this is finally mine. It showed up today, and all I can say this thing is a beast!!!!!!
I thought it was only fitting since JayTater put up with all my questions and concerns, that I break it in with some Serendipity!!
Got it running with a 1.3Ω coil and cotton wick.
I wont compare it to the KFC as I have only had this up and running for about 2hrs. I am kind of glad this is a bottle from my first HHV order when I screwed up and got 18mg nic, my head is spinning with this, I cant imagine what it would have been like if I had my normal 24mg in it. I cant quit using it!!!!!!

Yes, Edd, I watched the new Dredd some time ago. No, my Mamaw isn't nearly as scarred or vicious as the villain in that movie. Still not home and probably won't be until after supper. But at least I'm getting a day's work in.

Not sure if anyone's interested, but I had a nice chat last night about using cotton in a KFL/R91 - of the 3 main people involved in the chat 1 had no experience. So I promised I'd post some pics, tips & tricks for him. So I made it into a blog post, talking primarily on rewicking. Feel free to check it out or ignore it, pass it on to someone who might find some pictures helpful or whatever. Doesn't really matter to me either way, but if it helps someone out, that's cool. Horrible movie.... Better then Stallone but horrible nonetheless. That my friend is all.

I do understand why you say that. Your opinion on this is a valid one.
Let me explain why I found it to be vastly superior to the original version.
1) Karl Urban never removed his helmet...not once! So as opposed to Stallone mugging for the camera every 47 seconds in the original, this Dredd remained an anonymous hero. Kudos.
2) It was a smash em up, shoot em up, straight up 'B' movie. No pretension, no attempt at anything more. It was 90 minutes of adrenaline.
3) While no one will ever mistake it for Shakespeare, the dialogue was simple, yet fit the genre.
4) I really liked the effect of the substance "slo-mo". They made sure that the action sequences were shot straight up, and this effect was only used for the simulated effect of the chemical.
5) Lena Headey was a believable villain as Mamaw.
6) The female psychic 'Judge Trainee' had a creditable arc to the story.
So while it was not a great movie, it was an entertaining 90 minutes of film in my mind.

) Even got a Cherry Tips Burple Pawn to 'pretty it up' !

I was trying to remember who that actress reminded me of....
one of the customers on the show Oddities. She used to be an embalmer at a funeral home.
Stallone's "I am THE LAW!" was classic and I did enjoy the first movie. I liked the second movie because it was more gritty and keeping with the character of Dredd, but I think I'd still give a slight edge to the first one.
