Got my spheroid today and set it up. After vaping the kayfuns the tight draw on it is going to take some getting used to..

Sent from my SCH-R530U using Tapatalk

Bridge, I don't have a spheroid and know nothing about them. But if you go on the kayfun thread (and the HHV Hardware thread) you can ask if anyone else has a tight draw and what they did to loosen it up. I know there are spheroid users there who might be able to help. We might have some spheroid geeks on the hardware thread. I'm thinking X or MP maybe. Or IA too.

EDIT: Oops, we're on the hardware thread.

a question, not 'the' question.. lol! I think I may just be a spoiled rotten kayfun girl.. But if I can't get it loosened up, it will sell no doubt.

I guess I feel I'm at the vape pinnacle with the Kayfun and unwilling to branch out thinking I wont find anything better. But that's just me. I still understand why people like trying different stuff. Vaping is a hobby too.

BTW, no bottles today (as I was expecting). But they are in Raleigh so I should see them Monday.

I had a GP Spheroid for awhile... traded it for another kfl. Yes the draw is kinda tight, the air flow (from what I remember) comes from the 510 connection. I don't think it can be modded for a more open draw. Mine didn't play too well with the provari's. I had to loosen it up to get better air flow. Qorax has spheroids and loves them. He might could give some pointers.

I'm sure I'll have lots of feedback over there. Seems like a helpful bunch and Q is there a lot. I made one adjustment and the vapor is better but still pretty tight on the draw. We'll see what they come up with. Thanks Donnah.

I did enjoy using my spheroid but cotton doesn't seem to work as well as silica (the cotton tends to droop) and it seemed that every time I needed to change wicks I had to change the coil and putting a coil in that thing wasn't really fun.. (those little screws) I found myself letting it sit in favor of other things and figured I could get a good trade out of it. I rather liked the draw on it.. it was smooth. But it was also very device dependent as far as air flow goes.

Well, I guess I'll have to orient you. You're on the HHV Army subforum.

The HHV Army

HHV = Heather's Heavenly Vapes

It started as a single thread way back in August of 2012. Just a collection of HHV enthusiasts. The thread exploded and then Dusty got us our own subforum. So we have lots of threads...this being the flagship thread...

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/hhv-army/327717-heathers-heavenly-vapes-big-thread.html

Truthfully, the BIG THREAD is more social talk than juice talk. But HHV juice is kind of the anchor topic. We also have a bunch of other threads including this hardware thread (the one you're on). We have quite the collection of gear geeks on this thread and are always welcoming more. You'd make a great addition (hint, hint). And of course, if you are the sporting type, we can always help you with your HHV selections.

:)

I switched it from my Provari to an ego and that did help a little; still much tighter than the kayfuns. I do not care for the thumb nuts either, and if I keep it I'll be upgrading to the V3 kit that has normal screws. I don't use silica at all anymore. I just keep thinking a second KFM would be nicer; but I need to give this a shot, as I just got it today.

What up army. Spent the day in Austin yesterday and the previous night before. Took a trip to a very nice vape shop before I left and picked up one of these clear kits

Love the look and hope the others I ordered from FT are as good quality as I imagine this one to be.
Tried a ton of juice and just overall got along with the owner who really knows his stuff. He even knew all my shops in Houston and had plenty to say about them. I love when I walk into a shop, And the people there know as much and more then I do about the vaping world.
Customer friendly places we need more of.
They also had the kayfun nano kit, but let's be honest, I need more juice not less :p

I wonder if the clear silicone Orings would look better than the black ones??

Nice LeoRex, been meaning to upgrade to the Nexus 5.

In what little time I've had it, it's an awesome phone.... stable and really fast. Everything loads noticeably quicker than the SIII I had (which isn't exactly a slow phone, still), expecially now that it's patched. The OS is pure Android, so it is as clean a slate as you'll find.

Went back and forth between the nexus 5, galaxy 4 and the LG G2. I went with the LG for the snapdragon quadcore and I have an LG smart TV that syncs up with this thing flawlessly :) how are you liking that nexus? The only things I don't like about the g2 is that the battery isn't replaceable and there isn't a way to upgrade your memory with an internal micro sd.

The N5 is made by LG, sharing many internals (including that quad core proc, no SD or replacable battery too). I played with the G2 when I was waiting, and that back button was a bit odd. Nice phone though.

I still use a flip phone. I'm one of those dinosaurs who is afraid to be tethered to those things. :)

No, flips are fine.... there's nothing wrong with them. I mean, they are rock solid reliable, batteries last a TON longer and they are far more durable. I had a flip that fell out of my pocket at a gas station... must have got kicked around, driven over.. who knows. The back cover was missing on it so I slapped on some black electrical tape and she worked right as rain until I replaced it when my contract expired. I don't think this 5 would fair as well under those circumstances.

Ok... back to juice talk... :)

Nice.... queuing up another FT order. Yeah, I know.. the last one took about 5 weeks to get here... but oh well... I'm patient. I don't NEED anything at the moment... KFC on my Vamo with CA, Chrident on my K100 with Legend. That's all a man needs.

OK, now that I've slowed been assimilated into the KF collective.... I want a second. I'm lazy and that tank (among other things) has me hooked. And me, being also very cheap, is going back to FT for more gear. The holidays over there gives me time to ruminate on my shopping cart. I am probably going to go with one of the Russian 91% clones... I have a KFC, and I'd like something a little smaller to compliment it... and the RC has airflow control. In my limited experience with the big boy, pressure equalization is like THE most important thing when it comes to the vape quality (brings me back to my tank days where I was bubble watching to make sure my carts were wicking right), so the A/C is a must.

Then after that, I'm adding in one of the 12w kicks (guessing it is Smok's). I was going to set it 11 or so, throw it in my K100 with some 18500s and just be lazy. Maybe not...

Then I'm hemming and hawwing about that Nemi clone.....

So having 10 days to think it over is key. I might just take the money and go by some more Cinful Apple... I just picked up a 50, and I forgot just how yum it is in the KFC... guessing I'll blow through the bottle quicker than I would have hoped.

Decisions...
