Dust, did you ever use the attys that Vapage packs up in their kits? They use a stainless steel mesh. Looks interesting. Or maybe that was a different one. Can't remember now. Tough to get old. :)

Nope, I may still have them, or given them away. I was too stuck on my 901's to entertain the thought of using anything else. In case you havent figured me out yet, I like finding something that works and sticking with it. Sadly in the case of hardware, you have to "test" before you find out if you like it or not. The other thing is my propensity for buying things 50 or 100 at a time makes it hard to justify buying more and more.. My last healthcabin order was for 250 cartos among other things.

The vapage atomizers are very good. I use them periodically on my reo

Are they the ones with the stainless steel mesh in them? I saw one today. It might technically be a cartomizer. It was a SS mesh with a standard coil laying on top imbedded slightly. It's killing me where I saw that.

You can not run tanks or rba's on a v-mod without modding it to do so. The way they are built the atty or carto sits down in and is fully protected by the cone on top. The hybrid attys from vapage are great they are a bridge-less atty. I just love my v-mod :D

I don't believe they have ss mesh in them.

Here it is! Might have to click on one of the tiny pictures to enlarge. Now I know why it is a hybrid...part atty, part carto.

AMG Hybrid Bottom Feeder (2-pack)

It's a hybrid atty. It's like combining a 901 and a 510 atty into one. The HH.357 is the same thing except that they're hand built with Cisco spec parts. The mesh feeds the wick to the coil. Great dripping attys.

It seems that they would. JW likes his. I hear the 357s are expensive.

The 357s are around $22. They are great in that they last for months and months (like 6-12 depending on use) with proper care. As for vape, they are great but the less expensive hybrid attys (like the Vapage) vape just as good imo. They just won't last as long. I only use my 357 for testing juices because it's easy to switch flavors. When I drip long sessions, I use an RBA dripper. Better flavor and vapor, methinks.

They are 22 a pop. Avidvapers.com. They have a while bunch in Cisco spec. So if they are all made with Cisco spec parts what makes the 357 so special then the 9 dollar Cisco spec hybrid attys? Always wanted to know that?

That's a lot of scratch for an atty. But $$ per drip it's not. I think those Vapage hybrids were $18 for a pair or something like that. Actually, this is for April, not me. I'm just helping her out (and learning stuff too). She's going to try the hybrid next that came with her VMOD kit.

One thing about the 357 is it looks like it is a long barrel. I'm thinking that would help prevent getting juice in your mouth in the event you flood the thing.

The 357's come in long and short and in colors. I saw a review where the so called "mesh" around the ceramic cup was more like steel wool as opposed to the "mesh" around other attys. that was just one of my observations.

I use the Vapage hybrid 1.5 ohm atty's and the cisco 1.8's from Avid. And a Hornet. All work very well. Want to try a HH357 1.7 some time as well. I tried a Resurrector shorty 1.7 for the last 2 days and previously a Silo carto from vapage and didn't really like either. Gues I'm an atty person.

Memphis wins, Michigan wins. Woot to the Army!
