I was going to correct Smitty about his end of week comment, but see you already got to it. ;)

Yeah I was pretty amazed at how fast it shipped. Good stuff. You'll be in vapor heaven by the end of the week. There I corrected myself

It ships as fast from Germany as it does from Carolina Vapes which is in the same state as me. :) But then I don't pay Carolina Vapes $15 to ship either. :)

The sad thing with being in Canada, it costs more to ship here from the U.S ($20 on average) and still takes 2 - 3 weeks to get to us. I'll gladly pay $15 to have it arrive the next day from somewhere. :)

6mm wick build complete. 3/4 wrap of 32 gave me a 1.6 ohm coil.

Sorry, didn't get to take pictures General because Chloe was on my case to get the BBQ going..

Consider me on your case to get the bbq going too! :)

I technically have a 6mm wick with 3/4, 32 as well. It will be interesting to see what resistance I get. And your Provari fires it up nicely?

One complaint I have with my AGA-T+ on the Provari is that it takes too long for the coil to get hot and make vapor. And that's at 1.2 ohms when the wick is new. The Provari wont allow much less than that. I really think that AGA-T+ needs to go subohm on a mech to be at its best. Maybe its just me.

Nope, that was my experience as well, on the RSST. My first wrap came to 1.3ohms, and while the vape was OK, it took a little for the coil to start vaporizing juice (even on a mech). Even at 1ohm (so ~17w on a fresh battery), there's a slight pause while the coil heats up. I wasn' until I dropped another wind down to 3/2 where it work up and starting raging against the machine as soon as I hit that button.

Those are big coils of LR wire, it takes a bit to get them rocking, unless you floor it and throw some serious wattage at it.

I'm at 1 ohm now.... I might drop it down to .8 again on the next wrap. Just trying to find the right spot for me.

Hey General, I would attribute that particular flaw to your propensity for running at low watts rather than any fault of the AGA or the coil. A Genny needs a lot more "HIT" to get going, and I would urge you to raise your voltage way past your current comfort zone and then give it a try. Maybe even into the 10 - 12 or more watt range.. *shock*

I remember watching a video by Phil Busardo where he "gets it!" with Genny's. :)

I remember X saying the same thing a bit back. I did put the screws to it Dusty and it did help to be sure. But it sure was a warm vape! I wasn't getting much flavor out of it. Maybe I should try it again but work my resistance up to 1.6 - 1.8 ohms as X suggests above.

I'll look into that. But for now, my ETA for my new Kayfun Lite is T minus 125 minutes 49 seconds. Screw my Genny! :)

Anyone trying to vape a genny on a vv mod might want to consider higher ohms and higher wattage. I would go for 1.5-1.8ohms and push it to 15 watts. You'll get a better vape than trying to vape in the 1.2ohm (no-man's land) range.

I just want ta say dat not awl New Yawkers tawk like this.
