True that. I've tried a fair share, and even the disposable cigalike leaked into my mouth once. Some leak more than others, but no matter what, you'll be cleaning a spill at some point.
Juice feeders are as unleakable as the Titanic was unsinkable. People can make all the claims they want...they all leak (to one degree or another as you suggest).
Everyone else is doing it, why can't I?

I build my coils daily now just because I want to practice and only own two tanks
It's an absolute waste of supplies but I feel at peace when I'm building..
Neo if you want to try cable lemme know before I leave I'll hook you up with a few pieces.. Stuff lasts forever

Nice to see another RSST user! I think I got mine sorted... I recoiled to 1 ohm this time around. The vape was great at .8, but the wick had a hard time keeping up with the power, and it killed my batts, and my juice, too quick. Added a wrap, and new it's much more reliable... it'll wick forever now...
Though, it might be a function of my improving coiling as much as the lower power. Now, if I dry burn, the coils start glowing from the middle out.
I'll take that. The vape is now silky smooooooth and DF is tasting heavenly. Funny thing is that on an eVod, I got butterscotch... but at a few watts higher, now I'm getting that chocolate chip cookie taste that some have mentioned. Very nice.
I put in an order for 150 ml of Legend Friday... might follow that up with a 150 of DF next week now. If only HHV sold the 8 oz bottles that MBV does.

In a nutshell, ekowool IS basically a silica wick, but at a higher grade than run-of-the-mill silica braid, so yes it can be dry burned. And I agree, it looks like a neat setup, whether you have the coil at an angle between the posts or perpendicular to them. The tick is raising the coil up off base so it doesn't block the air hole. He also used a 3/4 wrap to get 1.8 ohm, would that be 32 Gauge wire? He said the size wire he used was .20mm Kanthal D; metric measurements.
I noticed in the video, when he was filling it, you could see that the positive post has a slot across it; does that mean you can adjusted by screwing in or out to make an optimum connection with various mods? I ask since it has an air on the side and because I still haven't tweaked my VAMO shorty. (With the custom top plate on, the 510 connection and positive post sit just below the top edge of the plate. Meaning the VAMO tube is about 1mm too long and needs to be ground down a tad.)

I cook my HHV Butter Rum at around 3.7v in an 2.1ohm Evod, yum; any higher and it's ack, ack, ack, ack...

So, I got mine re-coiled while Chloe was watching TV after her dinner. Did the S shaped wick with 3mm silica (9mm total) similar to the video, then trimmed it to length before screwing on the chimney section. 3/4 coil measured at a perfect 1.8ohms again. Twice lucky so far..
