I boiled some cotton balls last night while cooking dinner and rewicked the KFC today , It's performing on a level with silica now , no funky taste , there must be something in this supposedly organic cotton that ain't mentioned on the label since boiling eliminates the taste I got last time .

Nuther question: to those who have/use a ring on your provari and tanks like the KFL, does your ring spin freely when the tank is on securely? Mine does.

hmmm That's where I got mine from - they must have taken just a smidgen too much off the inside of mine. It spins freely and rattles a little if I shake it.

EDIT:

It's snug and doesn't rattle with an AGA-T2 or Richman on it.

My KFL sits tight up against my Pro Ring by Sotong too. No movement!

Chak, check the bottom screw on the KFL when you have it apart for next re-coiling. It may be a 1/2 turn loose.

Same here bro, now I'm up to 7 kayfuns (2 by svoemesto, 2 Russians and the rest EHPro) and still haven't picked up another REO lol one of these days
