Sony 2100mah 30amp batteries Sony US18650VTC4 2100mAh - Kidney PuncherI have ordered chi you clone, kayfun 3.1 ES clone from fasttech. Looking to buy three 18650 batteries of Sony 30A.
Crap! Got a hardware, well actually kitchenware problem. The KitchenAid mixer my S.I.L. brought over from the States only accepts 120 V 60 Hz, 275 W. In this age of global economy, you'd think electric appliance companies would carry universal voltage on all their products!
Now to hunt for a step down transformer![]()
what version of Mixer do you have?? the wifes requires 120V @ 8A
It a KitchenAid Classic Plus, 120 V 60 Hz, 275 W.
ahh okay the wifes is the Pro series #5 weighs a ton and WILL break your fingers/hand if you put it in the way... I work around some pretty scary machines which dont even cause me concern but the Kitchen Aid even scares me...
Yeah, even though this is one of the smaller ones, it still weighs a ton and I wouldn't want to get anywhere near that blade while it's spinning.
I'm still wondering if operating at a lower frequency is going to affect the motor adversely? I don't think the transformer I got converts that from 50 Hz up to 60 Hz.
We had/have the same problem with our microwave - I've got a big 1500 W transformer hooked up to that. It's been working fine for the last 26 years, but doesn't keep time worth a darn, because of the difference in frequency the clock is slow.
I've been in ecstasy today: Heavenly ARMY in a Rocket KFL clone @ 1.8 ohm microcoil with 3mm Ekowool running at 10 watts on my MVP2! It's lasted me the entire day -- not dry hits, just creamy, rich flavor that coats my tongue and senses long after I've finished vaping. This is my first build on a Kayfun styled device -- but it won't be my last: just received in a Tobecco KFL/R91% clone and a Fogger V2.5.
One shall hold LEGEND, the other...
Yeah... the style of atomizer like in the Kayfun, Russian, Rocket, etc... that's the killer design out there now. I mentioned things in detail in an earlier post, but there are several design choices in how those things are set up that are damn near perfect.... isolation of the airflow from the contact (no center post leaks like what is possible in, say, something like a Protank or Vivi), elevating the coil away from the incoming juice flow... to the extremely effective reduction chamber (that is the killer feature of the Kayfun)... they all make for an excellent performing device that a) doesn't leak, 2) tastes wonderful, 3) holds a ton of juice and is 4) easy to use.
I mean, can anyone really ask for anything more in a vaping device??
I can see why all DD and Bronze talked about for what I swear was two months straight was their KFLs.I got my KFC working well now.... micro coil, boiled cotton ball wicks.... Legend tastes AMAZING in it... and now that things are well sorted out, the taste and richness of flavor actually bests the RDAs that I swore by.
I am going to pick up another.. maybe a 'lite' type to get it a bit smaller... and then relegate my RDAs for light duty/dripping for the flavors I don't vape on constantly. Good stuff.
Have I mentioned recently that the KFL is da bomb?!

Leo I can't quite get the same flavor out of the lite/r91 clone as the 3.1 clone the draw is a lot stiffer even with the airflow screw removed , that could have something to do with it or I just haven't found the sweet spot as far as the build for this particular version , but the 3.1 clone is a lot easier to dial in , IMO , there's only about a 1/4 inch difference in size between the 2 , so I opted to get another 3.1 also found the threading on the 3.1 is better as well but YMMV .Yeah... the style of atomizer like in the Kayfun, Russian, Rocket, etc... that's the killer design out there now. No, so it is like a Variable Frequency Drive that is set at 83%. So if the design RPM of the motor is say, 1700, it will be turning at 1400 RPM or so. It should not damage the motor in such a case as a blender/mixer.
I am not exactly sure how that translates to a microwave, however.
