I've been noticing something...
For a long time I was stuck on cartos..
Last year I attempted dripping and hated it with all my soul..
Last year I also picked up a reo and while its dripping, it's not, and with that I also disliked it after a while.
Gennys were a few months of tinkering only to never really find traction. Once I picked up the kayfun I felt I was done, and you know how that goes. I wasn't..
A new year and I've gone back to dripping AND a REO and with both of these delivery methods I'm finding a new love.
The kayfuns have sat now for a few days and I'm just wondering because I know it's gonna happen,... Where do I go from here?
I've gone from silica in clearos to cotton twine which was all I'd swear by for months, and now I'm on ekowool..
Constant change is great but on a piss poor budget having to sell everything is getting on my absolute nerves.

hmmmm always looking for the new "highpoint"? Untill "they" come out with a superdupervapermod, this is all thats offered... Im happy with my SVD and RSST... and HHV! It doesnt get any better than this

I just received my 3rd HC Kayfun 3.1 today from Luxor. It's the polished version, although it's not really polished. It's just more polished than the matte finish one is.
Interesting, however, that the acrylic tank section on this one is clear. That part on the matte finish ones is frosted.
I had some trouble assembling the acrylic tank center section with the other two tank pieces. The acrylic part wanted to cross-thread.
The two metal pieces screwed together fine with the metal center section, so the problem was with the acrylic center section. Finally got it together without cross-threading it.
The bottom screw for the 510 connection didn't want to screw in straight either. It always seemed to want to cross-thread also.
Didn't have any of those issues with the other two. Maybe this one was made on a Friday.

They don't have Friday's in China, just so that they can avoid weekends altogether..
actually Mondays are the worst day for manufacturing processes... ( I was in manufacturing Engineering for 11 yrs... )
and it is even worse after a 3 day weekend.
Got another reo on the way and this ones a beaut... Gonna have to let go of some nice gear to make up for it but in the end I'd rather have wood..
