Looks nice Lion. What does it cost? Do you remember?

I wanna say $50 shipped...that's pretty close. I think they are a bit cheaper now. It's the only charger I trust.

I have a Nitecore in my office, but I never, ever leave it unattended.

So I'd be better off closing it completely then drilling a new hole right?,

Yep. JB Weld is strong as hell. How big a hole is it? Might have to get a backer on the hole and then stuff the JB Weld in with a paper clip end or something. I don't know what you are looking at.

So the brass hole is the original hole. For the woody and the brass rm2 its perfect somehow..
The ss rm2 airflow hole is where I think I need to be and the hole above is my F up..
The airflow control helps but being the hole I drilled is so big over sqounking juice does eventually seep out. I hate touching juice being OCD I think...

Holy crap...you did a number on that thing. Is that two holes I'm looking at?

You'll need to put a backer on that hole so you can press the JB Weld in and it doesn't push out the other side. Use your imagination. I might even bevel the outside on the hole. It will help support the weld. You can drill the JB Weld with no problem. Start out small and test. Work your way up till you like it.

No, one is a hole the other on the bottom is an airflow control to try and fix my mistake.
I actually. Just messaged rob. 6$ for weld stuff and most likely 15$ for a new top cap. I'd rather just get a new cap. Especially with my lack of patience.

So not really hard? Maybe I'll do it regardless and have a spare cap.

I'd buy a new cap too. The JB Weld is a nice option but it does require some monkeying around (and best be redrilled on a drill press that you probably don't have). Screw it. Just replace the cap.

I've used JB Weld before and didn't find it hard to work with. Might be fun to fool around with it and see if you can revive your artistry. As you say, could serve as a back up (though I don't know why you'd need a back up unless you plan on doing some more butchery for no good reason).
