I have three of them. The AGA-T2 has no knurling, is all stainless, and has a press fit top cap. Good device for the price. Make sure you get the newer glass tanks as the first-run tanks were rough and unpolished. Check with the vendor first. I roll a solid wick with 500 mesh and I don't have to tilt even with the fill screw in.

Right on that's exactly what I wanted to hear. I want to try the ceramic wick but really haven't heard too much about them yet cept they are the latest greatest. I had a hard tune tonight wrapping that coil around the wobbly wick. But once I got it sweet baby Jesus. But I think I will def get a AGA-T2.

Does the Provari have a low battery shut off? I'm like Busardo. I'm a bit of a snob and hate weak hits over the last 10% of the battery charge. I'd rather it just shut down and force me to change batteries.

Yes.

In fact, PBusardo's Provari review demonstrates exactly that. Your last vape is the same as your first.

Yes I get the same vape thru a whole battery. And I get about a day out if an 18490 at about 4 volts. 2ohm carto. I dig my provari. I use my silver bullet more than anything right now. And I am thinking bout getting a kick now for it.

It takes the battery out and puts it in the charger for you.

Ya know. Maybe it was the white wrap i had on it before. With the black wrap i actually like the way it looks with an extension.

I'm getting good at wrapping coils. Here's what has led me to the most success:

Remember, the more solid you make your mesh, the better it will be able to wick liquid. For most liquids, 500 mesh wicks the best, but if you're using really thick juice, use 400 mesh or even 350. Try to make the wick as solid as possible with just a tiny hole through its center. You'll have enough stability then to hand wrap the coil without bending it. Torch the mesh before you roll, especially the edges. Fold and seam the length edge of the wick inwards about 1/8" so no mesh frays short your coil. Burn it cherry red throughout after you roll it. Don't over oxidize it. No need for quenching in water or juice burning. Those things are a myth. Just torch it red hot and let it cool maybe twice. Hand wrap your coils. Don't use the "drill bit method". Face the seam of the wick towards the positive post so the top lead doesn't touch it. That will minimize hot spots at the top coil. Wrap the wire firm enough so you have full contact with the wick but not enough to choke it. You want just enough slack to be able to adjust the coils without forcing. Pulse the coils with a less-than-fully-charged battery while dry to begin breaking in the kanthal and check for hot spots. Adjusting the coils is best to do while they're glowing so you can see immediate results. They are easier to move when they're glowing too. Invest in a blunt dental pick. It's the best tool for adjusting coils. Once you have even glow, fill 'er up! If you do these things using 30g or 28g on a mech mod, you will have vaping bliss every time.

I have all those tools. And I use 32g kanthal. And I probably could have made the wick a bit better but I will try again soon on the aga. I have a wick in there now that is way too thin for that hole. And it's running at around 2ohms. This one is 1.5ohms and man it's doing great. Took me a while to get it going but I have plenty of kanthal. Mesh on the other hand I need to get more of. I have 3 little squares left. Like I said though I wanna try ceramic eventually. I will grab some more mesh. Practice makes perfect. And I will do nothing short of becoming a master at it. Just in my nature. Maybe I'll pick up some thinner kanthal as well.

I really need to stop ordering stuff...just ordered another Mountain Vapor mechanical mod! :) Now I have a spare...for just $20.25 total! So now all I need is wick, wire, Phoenix RBA, and nic base. What's up with Wizard Labs?...I hear they are still not up and running. I guess I should go check that myself.....

From WL site:

UPDATE 2/11/13: Open in Orlando, FL.
Within the first 24 hours of reopening we took approximately 10-12 days' worth of orders. Since all of our nicotine solutions are mixed fresh to order, and we are still in the process of hiring and training new staff, this has caused a large backlog in the lab, and we will not be restocking nicotine solutions on the site until the current workload is cleared. We appreciate all of our customers' support and patience during this relocation, and are working to ship all orders as quickly as possible.

I've got one of thoughs mods as well, good cheap battery mod. Somthing to throw around and not worried about it.

I really wanna try the ceramic. But I got inspired and built a good DID set up. Where are you looking to get your ceramic wicks from?
Sent from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk

Everyone is out of the ceramic wicks it seems. Discount vapors sells both the 1/8th and 3/32nd, but they sold out in 55mins of getting them in. The other sites that had them were S&S (I think), and tankecigs. Both are out except for tankecigs, but they only have the 1/8th version which will not fit into the AGA-T2. And their prices are a rip off.

They call the ceramic wick FC-2000

Bronze, are you seriously considering purchasing one? Did having one so close at hand but non-functioning drive you up the wall? I can imagine so!

Nah CT. Robin's Provari hasn't influenced me in any way. Had it, I would have bought one instead of the LT I just got. I always knew I would own a Provari. But I never thought I would want one until I learned to quit abusing the mod that I have. I am terribly abusive of it. And no mod will last long with the way I have been treating them. So why spend $200 until I quit dropping and throwing my mod around? I'm getting a lot better so I'm getting close to springing for the Provari.
