Oh my you named her? And what is wrong with you people? Picc drops his s**t all the time. I have only dropped 1 pv and that was the silver bullet. I almost treat these PV's like they were an expensive phone. And the provari has been sitting on the dresser the last couple days. I am bored. which means I am itching for another new PV.

If I treated my PV's like an expensive phone I'd be SHEET out of luck ... I treat my vari better then I treat myself..
Do you freaking realize how many phones I've had in 3 years? HAHA..

yep, right over my head. You're safe Bronze.. I can't get mad about something I don't understand :)

If I had to guess, you are referring to my ineptness with gadgets.

You got it. Just having fun with you April. Your gear escapades are well known. It makes you charming if that helps me save my skin. :)

I am bored. which means I am itching for another new PV.

I hear that. I've been itching after one for a while now but I need the money for a small trip I'm taking next month. All I've spent money on this month was juice and cartos. I "splurged" on two drip tips with my last HHV order, but that's it. It's killing me... I want more toys!

Speaking of cartos, I forget who it was that told me HHV juice is easy on cartos, but damn it's true! I usually get about two tanks (5-6mL) out of a Boge with most of my other juices, but I've been using the same carto for the entire 15mL bottle of Heavenly Tobacco so far and it's still working wonderfully. No taste change, the draw is still perfect, it's not flooding or drying out. I'm in heaven (no pun intended)!

I bet if I wanted to coil something, I could do it better than you. :)

I just don't want to.

I always said you could coil better than me. I'm convinced of it. Those slender fingers that are delicate enough to deliver a baby? Are you kidding? Yes April, you would be MUCH better than me. I concede without an argument.

Is it just me? I vape with attys that range from 2.0 - 3.0 ohms and my voltage ranges between 3.4 - 3.8 volts on my Provari. I know I like a cooler vape but just wondering what others are vaping at with their Provaris.

Just out of curiosity, have you been checking the resistance on your atomizers before you set the voltage? My LR Boges tend to come in at 2.2-2.3 ohms, SRs tend to come in at 3.0-3.3 but quickly drop to about 2.8. My Cisco atomizers have all been accurate as far as stated resistance.

I typically run the LRs at 4.0-4.4V and SRs at 4.5-4.8V on my ProVari. A lot of the variance has more to do with the juice than anything else. I think what equipment juice mixers use has a lot to do with how much power the juice wants. I know of a particular vendor who uses dual coil cartos and higher volts and I tend to run those juices a bit hotter. All of the HHV stuff I've tried I've preferred them a bit on the cooler side.

I use Cisco 1.8 ohm atomizers and Smok 1.7 ohm cartos (Resurrectors?) on my ProVape-1. With a fresh battery it's a hair on the warm side, but it tapers off quickly and I find I get a more satisfying vape over the course of the battery's charge than I do with LR Boges.

Nothing delicate about delivering a baby! Starting the IV, yes...the baby coming out... Nothing delicate about that.

Back to the topic... IF I wanted a power source that has no LED display, would I be way out of comfort zone? User wise?

You have that now April. With your twists. Am I misunderstanding you?

Definitely. I always check my resistance. You vape much warmer than I do. I find flavor is maximized at the coolest temps possible. Just my opinion and worth what you paid for it. I also realize I am in the minority and you're more the case.

I don't know about the Provari, but with a 3ohm atty, I would be above 5 volts. With a 2 ohm, I'm at 3.8-4.4 volts.

You are, I like the Poldiac, Caravela etc...

the twists will die one of these days...

I watched a video on the Caravela. Where can you buy those and how much? April, you don't like gadgets. The Caravela is more gadety than a Twist. I mean, it's no big deal for me but I can't even get you to dry burn. There is an adjustable pin under the cap that you need to screw in/out to make contact with the battery. Again, no big deal for me but you might not want to fuss with it. Once it is adjusted, it should stay put for a long time. Also, the fire button is the bottom of the PV itself. You can lock it if you put it in your purse or wherever. But will you remember? It's not a variable voltage either so you will get a strong vape on a fresh battery and it will weaken over time. But then I don't think you adjust your Twists to compensate either so I don't think this is any loss for you. On the plus side, you could get the smallest version (18350) because you don't vape a lot. That little battery would still probably last you all day. They are stylish (looks like a bullet cartridge). I'll have to find a vid on the other one. April, are you sure you don't want an LED VV? A mini provari would fit you nicely and they are not hard to learn. And they are very well built.

I'm sure I don't want digital display.

You are leaning towards them being too gadget-y? They're just pretty.

No April. I don't think they're too gadgety at all. I think you would handle them just fine. They are pretty. My biggest concern with you is the bottom fire button. Forgive me, but I see you throwing it in your purse or on your bed or something and that pin getting stuck in the on position because you forgot to lock it. That would not be good. I don't even know where you could buy a Caravela. Overseas? Let me look at that other one.

I use ohms + approx 1.5volts as a starting point. For example, if my atty is reading 2.8ohms, I'll start with 4.3 volts and adjust to taste from there.

I'm tired of gadgets and just have no interest in them. I don't want to futz with rebuildable atomizers. I don't even want to rebuild my Vivi Nova coil heads. At $2 - $3 each, I'd much rather buy a few of them every few months than dork around with wicks and kanthal wire and all the trial and error involved.

I have a Silver Bullet, a Baby Bullet, a Mini Reo, a Lavatube, several Twists and Spinners. And I just got a Provari. I don't think I'll be buying any more gadgets for a long time. If one of my Twists or Spinners dies, I'll replace it but that's it.
