Haha bronze it's just my opinion don't get all crazy.
Then again your a ce3 guy so no matter what u use you'll get more consistency. Hell u could make a coil from a coat hanger and get a better vape :)

On that note would you like my 5pk of 1.8 ohm coils still sealed??

See that's ridiculous to me. I don't wanna carry around tp. I'm quite the .... person(maybe not as much as smitty) so if there's a slight issue then i will look for something better.
My favorite tank ever is getting sold because the tank is too loose for cartos. Yes i could search around for newer orings but why sell something that's not perfect out of the box. It's annoying.
I've lost 2 tanks of or3o and I'm already on a limited supply so.

Ah-ha, but I've also got allergies, so TP is a necessity for me - I have it everywhere I go, usually. If not, I have a hanky handy.;)

Trying to keep one eye on the CoOp to make sure I'm there when it goes live!!:blink::blink::blink:

Are you in this time, Bronze?

Which coop Chak? I finally went over there last night to sniff around. I think I see how it works. So is the RA shipping always less than the other one (can't remember the name of it)?

So let me see if I get this right. With a coop, someone sponsors it. They collect money from members and make a big buy from a vendor who, in turn, ships the merchandise to the individual signers of the coop. Is that how it works? Is the deal set up in advance or does the originator drum up the interest (order) first and then shop it around?

Funny you say that cause I was just about to go thru all my stuff and weed out what I don't use anymore. 2 reg size novas and 2 minis. The only way I would even think of using them is if I redid coil with cotton. And the minis seem to perform better than the reg size ones. I also have a hand full of stardust tubes and some heads. I revisited the CE3's as well. No mos bueno.

The problem I find with the CE3's is I'll get a box full of them and they all suck. Probably one of every three or four boxes. But I get a good box and they all work great. I like the cooler vape.

Update: the Provari seems to like its bath it received last night. Well I'm certainly putting it through its paces, aren't I? So my theory is, I will thoroughly test things unintentionally and if they survive me.....

I'm sticking with my Nova's. They work great for me and provide me with a vape I enjoy (I fell in love with HHV using Nova's, can't be all bad). I've only had this one leak, if you don't count the metal tank that I tried back in November when I was still using Twists. I honestly don't taste a difference between the mini and the regular size.

Basically first fail with the nova and I've been using the same ones since October. I chalk it up to age and user error.

@ Picc I'm not being defensive toward you, just explaining that there are peeps who are satisfied with simple things :).

I completely understand robin i really do but the flavor of hhv and vivi novas aren't compatible! There is a definite flavor loss and that's just wrong. Whatever works keeping us off the cigs or cigars though i guess is the most important.
I'm a carto guy and i know some people absolutely despise cartos soooooooo

Ha! I always thought cartos were flavor killers. You know, it's a good thing we have options. BTW MP, I'm still trying to get the coil taste out of that RBA you sent me. To be fair, I haven't used it that much. I put in a new cotton wick, added 15 drops, and vaped for a bit. Didn't taste right so I made a silica wick and did the same thing. Still doesn't taste right. I'm going to stick with this wick though and see if it breaks in. Did you experience this?

From the Provape website:

Some of the symptoms of a wet circuit board are random error messages such as E1, E2, E4 and E8.

If you accidentally spilled lots of juice on the ProVari and it has run down the side and in through the button location or window area, it's possible some juice got inside the device.

This can cause random error messages that you didn't see before or if all of your atomizers and cartomizer are reading 1.3 ohms or any other strange behavior, you might need to clean the unit.

Please note: the top cap of the ProVari is sealed so typically juice will not get into the unit from the top.
We have had users report that they were using a tank and it leaked along the side of the device, this is the situation most likely to cause juice leakage into the ProVari.

This is a very easy procedure:

1. Remove the battery

2. Using some 99% isopropyl alcohol, pour a small amount into the tube so it goes down where the circuit board sits.

3. Gently shake the device so the isopropyl alcohol swirls around inside the tube.

4. Now pour it out and let the unit dry.

5. It's important to let it dry completely before installing the battery again.

It's a good idea to leave the end cap off and leave it overnight to dry. Then try again.

If you cannot find 99% isopropyl, you can use 91%.
91% has more water, so it will just take a little longer to dry.

If you use some canned air or an air compressor you can blow out the excess isopropyl and it will speed up the drying time.

It WORKS! Go ahead and fill the tube up with the 99% alcohol. I might just get into the habit of doing this every few months. Maybe when the time changes.....

Robin, do you modify the Nova in any way? Take off a flavour wick etc etc.? I had zero luck with the Nova's and I tried 3 different versions of them, but was able to get the T3 setup to my liking. Just curious how you're setup.

Great Robin!!! Helps to go to the experts, eh? They know their product better than anyone. Nice they put that on their website.

Only thing I might caution anyone on is using compressed air. Compressed air can (and often does) have lots of water in it. All a compressor does is suck in the surrounding air and compress it so if it is humid out, you can count on the air coming out of the nozzle to be wet. Sometimes it is so wet you can see it atomize as it comes out. I would not use compressed air unless it is outfitted with driers and filters. Few weekend warriors have driers and filters on their compressed air.

Glad you got it going again Robin. :)

Dust, I use Nova's extensively and have had virtually no problems. I do a modified rebuild but even the stock heads work fine. What have your problems been?

Version 1: Lack of flavour and terrible wicking (they wrap the coils too tight around the wick and create a choke point). Juice would literally choke on it's way into the head resulting in burned coils.

Version 2: Better air-flow, slightly better flavour (they introduced flavour wicks). Wicking still sucked. Had to keep tilting to get juice to wick.

Version 2.5 or 3: They seemed to get most things right, except wicking . I was also able to rebuild this using 3mm silica wick and get decent performance from these. I still have a couple lying around but then discovered the Kanger T3's around the same time and them being bottom coils, took away my main beef with the nova's i.e tilt to feed.

I don't do a thing to modify anything. I'm not a person that likes to fiddle with anything. I have probably just gotten lucky with mine and found that they work well for me. Or in spite of me

I was referring to the Kanger Round 4 CoOp, the one with the ProTank, Evods, MT3, etc. It's still in discussion mode but due to go live soon, I think. The OP is waiting for a reply from her Rep. in China.

What's RA shipping? This is my first CoOp too.

Stick with the T3's. I modify my Nova head rebuilds and they hit like a freight train. :)

RA = Registered Air. Don't know much more beyond that except it appears to be the cheaper method of shipping. wish someone would come behind me and straighten this out for us.

I'm not into Kanger products anymore. The T0, T2, and T3's are all just too quirky for me. I also have M3's and they are actually nice. best Kanger product I have used. Just too small for my liking.
