BTW, what I find with different juice feeder is that you can get a different bend on different juice feeding devices. For example, as you know, I vape DF the last half of every day. One day I'll vape it in my modified Nova, the next day I'll vape it out of an rba. It produces a different taste/feel to be sure. Not always a huge difference, but definitely noticeable. Just adds another dimension and I think that is the appeal many gear heads enjoy exploring.

If the Nova had failed me, I would have then looked for something that wouldn't. But I had done a ton of reading, while I was still using cartridges and attys, and checked out all the threads on the Nova's. I read the disappointment people had and most of those were really about the clones. So I made sure I got the Vision one and haven't been disappointed yet. A very small learning curve for me but I'm at the place where if I get a bit of gurgle, I know what to do to correct it.

I got two replacement tanks because I screwed up two. Actually my daughter did with one of them but swapped one of mine for hers. They are still going strong after 6 months. Holy cow! I've been smoke free 6 months yesterday!! The day I got my first Nova, was the day I never had another cig! :toast:

And that alone is why the Nova is successful. It has to be one of the most popular juice feeders. And there is something to be said about familiarity. You know all the signs that make them go wonky and what to do to unwonky them.

That makes total sense. I also get that people are also looking for more vapor. I also realized that others need to have that aspect to keep them interested in vaping. That's what's so cool about vaping, it serves the needs for so many different types.

Also! If it weren't for those who explore the different things, we wouldn't have all these things that work better than the products that were available a few short years ago. All you guys that are playing around with SS mesh and cable stuff, may just be blazing a new trail and the results may be something that a person like me can enjoy hassle free.

So thank you guys! :D

Robin, I'm like you. Once I tried the Vision Vivi Nova, I have rarely used anything else. Even my Reo sits unused these days.

As I've told others many times, the Vivi Nova is affordable, rebuildable, doesn't leak, and is easy to use. Why should I look for anything else?

The Nova, being the most popular juice feeder, is always subject to comparison. As a result, there are many who want to knock it off its pedestal. But it is a dependable device for the most part. It makes up more than 50% of my vape time.

Pap, how are you doing on your rebuilding?

The rebuildable is what's getting me. When I saw the video of Phil B. rebuilding it, I though wow that looks easy! Then I got mine and went WHOA! That's tiny in there! That was some serious close up camera work he did! Then I trimmed a wick that was just a tad too long and found how incredibly slippery those are (shout out to Bronze for the nail clipper to trim!)

The Protank comes with 510 threads? Cool! This has to be the first 510 entry for Kanger.

Yes it does. And it ifs the first clearo that I genuinely like. I don't know why but it seems like it tastes so much better than other kangers I've tried. I'm getting a second one.

More, more JW. This is a bottom coil correct? And rebuildable or replaceable? Any advantages to the glass tank beyond holding volatile juices? I've seen lots of chatter over this clearo. I started with Kangers and while they provide a nice vape, they always had issues that drove me nuts so I kind of gave up on them. The T3 was horrible. T2's and M3's were their best entries. They had a T0 bottom coil that was a complete clunker.

Yup bottom coil and my bud says they are Rebuildable which is why I'm even bothering. Glass won't crack that's about it. Ivapes had deal on them so i jumped. Was gonna order 2 but I'm sick of jumping in the deep water without first securing a life raft..
My t3s are all wrapped up waiting on meeting a fellow vaper next week to gift.

Currently I have an Ego-T 2 upgrade passthrough with Kanger T2s or boge carts in a F17. I am definitely going to make a mod or two myself, I like building/fixing stuff. I was going to have something much better by now, but purchased 2 years worth of DIY PG based nic solution and flavors, and about 200ml of various vendor liquids (also with PG) a few weeks before discovering a nasty PG allergy. Also had to spend thousands fixing the car and getting a new fridge and dryer this month. Now I'm aiming my sights lower, looking at starting with a box mod like an Ovale V8 or maybe a Tmax when they finally come out, a DiD clone, octopus, and/or drunker tank type rebuildables. Cheap stuff for now, the Provari will have to wait a few more months.
Some of this thread makes me envious, most of it reminds me how broke I am. I took technology for granted before it all started breaking on me! Don't forget how lucky you guys are, it's an easy thing to lose sight of. Being off cigarettes is the only really important thing for me at this point, and probably all of you guys, too.

Cheap doesn't mean you can't have nice things. Below is a Sigelei (Chinese) telescoping mod I bought for $30. I removed the chrome from the end caps to expose the brass and polished the once brushed finish to a shine. I replaced the original cheap button switch with a brass one from an EA Mod. That was another $30. Yeah, the button cost as much as the mod, but the mod sells retail for $50 and it now fires as good as any $200+ mod out there. The tank is a Smok RSST which I bought in a coop for $14. If I had kept the original stainless button, this setup would have cost $44 plus my time prettying it up. There's always ways around extravagant cost. Figuring out the possibilities is part of the fun for me. Staying off the stinkies is surely the bottom line, but you can definitely have bling on a budget.

The heads are replaceable but they're easily rebuilt. People are saying it's the best Kanger yet. 501 connector and comes with an eGo "beauty ring" so it sits flush with either design. I have 3 Protanks coming in a co-op soon.

Yes they are rebuildable. Discount vapers hhas the replacement heads for about a buck a piece so I'm not sure if ill mess with that or not. The only other kanger Ive used is the t3 which I hated. All of them leaked eventually and I always got plastic taste or burnt taste randomly that I could not figure out.

The protank has not leaked at all so far. No gurgling on the draw even when the tank is about empty. Have not had a single dry hit yet or any off taste. So far I have tried vivi novas, t3, stardust, iclears, and now the protank. I hated all the other clearos up until now. The flavor on these are great, and a good amount of vapor for a clearo as well. Hopefully they don't let me down over time.

I missed out on the co-op. Didn't pull the trigger. Now I'm jealous!! :)

Wish Kanger would let us use our own drip tips.

One of the benefits of a bottom coil (to me) is that it provides a little cooler vape. You picking up on that?

The T3 was a clunker too...for all the reasons you cite.
