The AGA-T's draw is airier then I would like = I'm regretting now that I drilled it out to 1/16". :( Perhaps, I'll get used to it in time... Can't beat the flavor - that's for sure! :)

I have the same regret. Too airy now.. and it has a slight "whistle". Sigh! I'm being very very conservative with my RSST's air hole. :)

Chak, treat that .5mm ribbon like 32 gauge kanthal. The .8mm is closer to 18 gauge.

Thanks for the tip, Xfoo. Whoa, 18 gauge! What am I gonna do with that, super Low Res? Don't know if I'm into that, we'll see.
Some tiny washers on the pos & neg posts would nice to help hold it in place. Didn't have any that small in my tool box.

Did I write 18 gauge? I meant 28. Duuuuhhh.

Well I bought a Protank today to give it a try. So far I have been pleasantly surprised, but only time will tell.

RBAs definitely have my Curiosity, just not sure if it is going to be for me or not. I'll try anything at least 3 times or until it kills me so yeah eventually I will go rba. Maybe bronze can school me on RBAs if we ever bump into each other for that vapefest ;)

Lots of folks can help you with RBA's Fran. Don't be afraid to ask anyone. Gotta be a little careful. You ask 10 people the best this or the best that and you'll get 10 different answers. :)

But there remains a great deal of useful resources on this thread concerning hardware. I find RBA's provide a superior flavor to your stock top and bottom coil rigs and cartos. I think most people would agree. But RBA's are better suited to stationary vaping due to the frequent refilling. This is why I use it primarily for home use. Even that has been addressed with some larger tanks using mesh and other wicking materials. Like anything else, it's usually better to start out simple and work your way up. Purchasing a simple Phoenix style RBA is always a good jumping in point. And it takes you most of the way to better vaping. They're inexpensive and not hard to rebuild. When you're ready, pick one up and ask me or anyone on this thread to lend you a hand to get started. It wont be long and you'll be helping folks yourself.

Yeah and I think that is going to be one of the negatives for me. I stay on the go so much right now and most of my vaping is done away from the house. I am going to look into your suggestion though ;)

That sounds a lot better. I can work with that, I think. ;) Maybe, I can use that on the U cable I have in mind. :)

I use the .8mm on my cable wicks for sub-ohm coils. Works like a dream. I use the .5mm on my RDAs. I ordered 100ft of .9mm wire from TemCo, but that doesn't ship until mid-July.

I was having terrible issues with my AGA T+, the threads from the center tube wouldn't catch with the top piece. I was about to sand down my glass tank tubes, when somebody told me to try taking out the center metal tube that connect the top to the bottom. Sure enough, it has more threads on one end than the other. If you run into this issue, take out the center metal tube and reverse it. It saved the day for me.

I got my RichMan's RBA in yesterday, it's a real beauty. I found out it's not made in USA, but it would have been out of my price range if it was. Oh well, it's still really nice. The flat SS look is interesting but doesn't quite match my run of the mill polished mods/APV's. As is, it looks as good as anything ever will on my copper pipe mod. I can't decide if I should hit it with a wire brush wheel on my bench grinder yet, all my driptips look out of place on it. There's no turning back from a move like that, although I could polish it with a felt wheel, and who doesn't like shiny objects?

Either way, I'll get some pics of it on this thread over the weekend. My AGAT's are jealous already. :)

Hoosier vapes? I have one being delivered tomorrow too :)

Any of you guys/gals have any experience with an Amp tank? Just traded for one in the classies today. I'm looking forward to throwing one of my hh357s that have been neglected lately in there

I'll remember that stem reversal. Thanks!

You're gonna see a lot of sales on the AGA-T2. Youde Technology (aka UD), the manufacturer of the AGA series, is coming out with new lines of gennies and RDAs. There's a 17mm genny called the AGT, and a new tri-post dripper called the IGO-W. The AGI dripper/genny combo is selling like crazy too. More things to come from them. UD makes great inexpensive stuff.

X, I know y'all have posted this numerous times, but what do you drill your T+ out to?

Having 2 of them, I drilled one out to 1/16th. It's nice to have both the stock and a larger hole, YMMV. Freakin' metric system...

Edit: 1/16th = 1.5mm, to save you time looking it up.
