Looking at the listing it seems to be a Svoe Mesto. I have one (different source), and it's well made, good juice channels. The side screw provides some (not a lot) afc, but I got good flow with the factory settings.

Well machined, no rough spots, smooth threading. Mine did come with an adapter for standard 510 drip tips - didn't notice it there. Good performer. Currently have a 1.5 Ω micro in it, cotton wick. And I usually top fill it, so don't know how well the side/bottom fill performs :)

so I pretty much won't know if it's from me not building correctly or a clone issue?

Hmmm missed this one somehow , you can always post photos of your device and build on this thread , the kayfun's are easy builds if you use commonsense , if you have a problem post it here and we'll walk you through it .

So the 3.1 should be good to go, but the lite may or may not work out for me, depending on whether or not I like the draw. Got it, and thanks a bunch. Any suggestions for a newbie entering the world of vaping and rba?

read, learn, take your time, and find a good juice ;)

MW I think that's the same ones I picked up at Avid Vapor. I really like them... and haven't had any leaking or anything on mine.

Yeah so far its been perfect :) Im going to keep them at home though, I dont think they'll hold up through a work day

My 2nd MVP 2.0 and my first HCigar Kayfun 3.1 picked up last night. I watched RiP Tripper's micro coil building vid and he uses his device to measure the ohms. Is that okay to do? Or is it better to use an ohm meter or multi-meter?

LA, your MVP is fine. But if you want to check it's accuracy (or consistency), measure it with both the MVP and the multimeter. I found my multimeter and Provari are always within 0.1 ohms. That's nothing but a rounding variance. I trust the accuracy of my Provari ohm meter.

Thanks, Bronze! I don't have a multimeter, but would get one if needed. All the vids I watched, and the girl at the B&M just used the device. But one vid mentioned the possibility of blowing out your device if you don't do the coil right. Worried me! I plan to be exceedingly careful, in any case.

If it's safe to use my MVP, that's perfect. Otherwise I'm like one of those kids who gets a new bike on a snowy Christmas morning. :)

I would suggest you look at your MVP manual and look up the protections provided with the device. There should be some mention of short protection. I'm confident your MVP is accurate and safe to measure your coil builds. But it never hurts to read up to make sure. Also, be sure you are using a quality battery. What battery are you using?

I only have the two MVPs. Haven't gotten into devices with replaceable batteries (yet). Is that what you are asking?

Oh, so the battery is integral to the MVP? I know nothing about the MVPs. Well, some, but not much.

just looked it up and there is short protection. They all pretty much do these days.

Only caveat I can think of is to check how to read resistance without firing the MVP2. As long as you do that, you're only putting a current regulated voltage on the circuit, and won't hurt anything. My MVP is model 1.1, just VV and no Ω check, but my VV3 and SVD both use this procedure: press and hold both the + and - buttons for a couple seconds to read the topper resistance. Being as all are Innokin, I'd suspect the MVP2 is the same, but...
