Thank you! and, you vape 100%VG with it without any issues?!
Dusty , I have my 3.1 loaded with 100% VG Legend , 1 ohm coil wicked with rayon and I can chain vape it with no issues , I don't know how thick Clay's 30/70 is that Papaw was using but I haven't tried Clay's 100% VG in the 3.1 , it's molasses .

I don't think Papaw is only referring to Clay's juices though, HHV too I believe.
He was running Clay's juice when he had the issue , he hasn't had any issues since switching to HHV , I don't believe switching from rayon to cotton had as much effect considering he had no issues with the clone and rayon .

I don't like Gaia, I LOVED IT!! If I buy a 100ml bottle, you can bet I love it. Glad to hear that about Dark Horse. I have such a small sample. I never hear anyone talk about it, so I didn't have high hopes for it.
I liked the Caramel Apple Tobacco. I didn't love it, but I liked it. I didn't taste hardly any caramel though. I got some for a flavor change. I love Gaia, and Legend. I liked Heavenly Tobacco, but I think I may need an extra flavor shot of it. If I chain vape it, the taste goes away rather quickly. It is much better aged, and has more flavor. Even the aged can disappear with the taste, if I vape it too long. But it does have major possibilities for me. I have not tried Heavenly Army yet. I just tried the Georgia Peach Tobacco today. I put it in the Panmag. I thought it was good. It is ten days old. This is 30/70, and I asked them to put in extra flavor. It is not what I would call sweet at all. There is something about it though, I like it. I am going to put some in the Kayfun after a while, and see what I think. I have already been through 3 full Magma runs with it. So that is a definite yes, for me.

Huntsman, I really like it when it is aged, but not as much as Gaia. Maple eh? I liked it and will buy again. Good for a flavor change. Not enough maple taste for me. I detect an earthiness about it, and it is a faint version of Huntsman...that same base taste, but a little different. For some reason I liked it better when it was more fresh.

Dragon's Fire, I don't care for it. I should love it, because what people say it tastes like. Maybe it is one of those that I love after it has aged a long time. Blend 4 was that way for me. Dragon's Fire has a weird taste and smell, and it is somewhat repelling to me. I don't know why. The Black Calico by Halo is the same way. Something weird tasting, I can't put my finger on it, not yet anyway. I may like both of these better in time.

Kkay, I did a review on Dark Horse here: www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/heathers-heavenly-vapes/556491-reviews-hhv-tobaccos.html#post13881420

I thoughts on Huntsman are in there too. I personally would take Gaia, Huntsman or Dark Horse over Dragon's Fire. Although I do like DF and just received 300 ml of it.

I don't care for any juice with PG lower than 50%.

You lost me after the second stop..

A vented screw has a hole through the center. If you mod the top of the screw you can replace the center pin on a FatDaddy 510 connector with it and make it work for a bottom feeder. Now if you want to see some cool mod work look in the Modders Fourm at the Bottom feeder modding thread. I'm not even close to what some of them are doing. But I just a low tech tabletop modder.

Thank you Chakris, I read that a long time ago, but had forgotten about it. I haven't tried the DH yet. I am not sure I like the 30/70 blend yet. When the Georgia Peach was in the Magma, it was good. I put it in the Kayfun, and it is blah. Part of that could be because I've vaped so much of it today. Almost half of the 15 ml bottle is gone, just today. But they NEVER fill the bottles, so I don't know how much I actually vaped. Some sellers fill that bottle up practically to the brim. HHV sends me bottles that are no where near the top. When they age, with cap off, that level drops even more. That is one thing I DON'T like about HHV. I am very pleased with them overall though. Almost all of my juice at this time is HHV juice. I asked for all my juice in this order to have extra flavoring, besides the one bottle I think it was of 50/50. (maybe two bottles, I can't remember) Maybe they didn't put that extra flavoring in the 30/70 bottles. There was no note about it on my invoice, so I have no idea. If this has extra flavoring maybe it is just going to have to steep much longer. I might have to send them an email to find out what they did. (they may not make notes on customer orders, and keep them on file) Does anyone know?

KK, I doubt they keep notes on stuff like that. As for bottles not being filled to the top, the bottles they use are actually larger than 15 and 30ml. That's why they are not filled to the top. If you ever get one that is filled to the top, consider it a bonus. I believe the 100ml bottle is close to 100ml and that one would be filled to the top. Don't etch that in stone though.

yup... its strange how a bottle of HHV gets lower when its open.... but I think its because I keep putting the juice into my tank ;)

but if you think about it and how PG/VG is hydroscopic.... the bottle should fill itself from adsorbing all the moisture from the air...
ohh but hold on... that only happens when you vape it... or does it ;)

Well the first time I tried White Lie, I was in heaven. Same thing with Pirate's Booty. I bought a big bottle of each. The second bottles did not have the flavor of the first bottles. Maybe it is because they use more pg, than I order specifically. That is the only thing I can think of. I prefer not to have pg, but a little for flavor at this point, is okay. Soon I should know more about what pg/vg mixes I like. I hope these 30/70 bottles have taste. If not I am in big trouble. I also got a 20/80, and a 100VG too. At least one was my 50/50 normal ratio.
This may have addressed already, but...
While HHV does increase flavor as they increase VG levels, it is still possible to loose some of the flavor with higher VG%, since PG is the main flavor carrier. To compensate you can ask for more flavor in the comments box when you order. For the orders you already made, you could order another bottle and ask for the extra flavor, as well as, get a slightly higher PG level then blend the two.

Hmm, I'm probably wrong again and picking at straws, but Papaw, can I ask what brand "Rayon" you are using and where you got it from? I'm sure you know that Cellucotton sells two two types of strands, one is 100% Rayon and the other is 100% cotton. But you've probably checked this already, right?

I ask because I read somewhere else that some people didn't know they sold both types and bought 100% cotton instead of Rayon. Also, because of my own experience working with both - I found I had more burnt wicks while using cotton than I ever had with Rayon.

I hope you know that aging with the caps off shouldn't be longer than 48 hours - 24 hrs works for me. After that you can re-cap and age longer. :2cool:

Yes, I knew that. I just take off the pink cap on the bottle. I don't take off the nozzle tip. I am too afraid it will get knocked over to do that. Oh, and I shake the bottle, and squeeze it, to release air that is inside the bottle. Then it pulls in fresh air. I think that helps aging too.

kkay, I don't think it's really aging much with just the cap off and the dripper still on there. I think the dripper needs to come off for a day or two so the air can get to it.

Agree Pap. KK, you can take the purple cap and pop off the tip like a can opener. Makes it easier to get off.

Oh you take the tips off? Oh that does sound scary. If you knock it over with the tip on, you don't lose too much. If you knock it over with tip off, it is basically all gone. I know, I know...don't knock it over...lol. I have knocked over a bottle like 3 times already. Remember I have shaky hand syndrome. Maybe I can do one bottle at a time, with tip off. I need a new cabinet to do this. Mine are all full. I have to age mine in the kitchen cabinet. So there isn't much room in that. I can't leave it open because of the cats, and my pup.

I meant open, by open top. I have to watch the cats when I am steeping/aging in the cabinet. The youngest one has gotten into it once before. This is where I keep my plates etc... She hasn't gotten in it in a long time though. If she gets in, and knocks a juice over, all 3 pets could get nicotine. I keep my closed lid juices in a plastic ammo box. It has a locking lid. They aren't getting into that one. Now the dog could chew into it, but I watch her pretty closely. The cats however remain loose all day, and I don't watch them. The old cat, that is my daughter's cat, taught the young one how to get into cabinets. She will get into my stereo cabinet, and my bathroom cabinet too. I had to put a child proof lock on the bathroom cabinet. The stereo cabinet has two glass doors. I have to put something in front of it to keep the older cat from getting in to it. My daughter put some catnip in there once, and that is when the cat decided to get into it. She never forgot and she still tries to get in. Why, I don't know. There is nothing in there now that should be interesting to her. Old habits die hard I guess.
