People just have different lung tolerances. Some of it is due to our physiology we were born with, some of it was due to self-inflicted damage. Either way, some cannot handle dual-coil, sub-ohm, high power vaping. It's too warm and too full. It is for me. Conversely, single coil, low power is not enough for others.

Too full, I can understand. It does not have to be too warm, even when run at ridiculously high wattages. That's the point I was trying to make to April.

I've never been a lung hitter, not even when I smoked. The whole concept of lung hitting was alien to me. I still tried it though, and found it surprisingly easy, as long as it was setup right. Before that, I'd sit there shaking my head wondering just what the heck those crazy cloud chasers were doing.

I'm still not a lung hitter. I've not touched my Magmas in close to or more than 2 months. The Reo probably over a month. Mouth to lung comes naturally to me.

There are those days though, where the bug gets to me, and I want to just fog up the place. :D

I donly think I hit my lungs when I vape. I certainly did when I started but now it just lingers in my mouth mostly. I'm sure some gets inhaled. If I do inhale into my lungs it makes me cough. And what's the point in doing that?

I did open up the airflow, it's just not my style. It's different and breezy and I could see where that might be fun, but not for me. its certainly not nearly as warm with the air open more.

Thanks!

Have you considered lowering your nic?

April, as crazy as it sounds, if you could swap your drip-tip for a wider inner diameter drip-tip, then cut the air back slightly, you might get a fuller yet cooler vape. As Dusty was saying, everything has to line up - PG/VG, Nicotine Level, Power, surface area of coil, wicking, air flow in, draw out.....

Maybe that's why I'm still in REOVille. Works for me.

Bronze this is my first batch of 3mg, if it goes well I'll probably just quit after a while. Who knows how long but I imagine if I'm good in 3mg Id be good on nothing.

That makes sense Brett. I'm not going to get too crazy trying to make this work for me.

Remember there is the hand to mouth habit too.

You found your comfort zone Pop. I'm guessing it is highly doubtful you will find another zone that is noticeably better than the one you're in. I'm a P3/Kayfun, 1.5 ohm, 8 - 9 watt vaper and all the other configurations didn't work for me as well. I do like my Veritas for my Apache and that's my steppin' out gig.

You are headed in the right direction. I just started into 6mg @ 80/20 PG/VG after over two years vaping 12mg @ 30/70 PG/VG. Right away I preferred the smoother, milder vape I am getting. And that's just from AltCig, my 6ml 80/20 HHV should be here by the end of the week. Looking forward to maybe joining you at 3mg someday. Who knows, The Big Thread could all wind up like GT someday, talking about what we used to Vape :D

When you get to NOLA , you'll get to checkout the Aqua V2 and the Rose V2 , you might wind up liking one of those .

The sub ohm experiment is over, not to be repeated any time soon. Switched over the temp sensing coils, swapped out the wide bore drip tip to one of my narrower ones. It's working out well. Still the same 80VG juice in it.

Didja take it up into the higher watts before changing it out?! huh? huh? Didja, didja?!

Atleast you tried it!! Good job.. :)

I sure did. I locked myself in my room and created a scene :). I can see how it would be fun, but I only vape for the habit and the nic. Not to create a scene. I like the least amount of vapor possible. In fact a lot of the time I'll exhale into something (like a napkin) to keep it low profile.

Papaw, those are STUNNING. How much do they run? I'm afraid to ask, but still curious. I would love to have one.

Last year Woodvil ran from $160 to $175 dollars. This years run there are a few differences - the New Woodvil is sub-ohm capable, has a 'flush' juice well to accommodate a wider variety of attachments, and an adjustable 510 connector. No definite sale date yet, but if Rob is posting pictures we are getting close.
