I have several batteries..cr123, 16340...they are all several months, maybe a year old and I'm wondering what is the life span of these batteries? I ask because I have a new mod (A GGTS, no less) and it isn't firing well at all. I have tried EVERYTHING and now I'm thinking maybe my batteries are too old. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!
THANKS!

Batteries last until they don't hold and keep a charge, various estimates put this at ~300 recharges but as with much in the vaping world YMMV. It will depend on how you recharge, how often, how many top off charges, how low you discharged before recharging. A year would be a good life span with regular usage, so it may be time for a couple new sets of batteries.

One way to tell how good your batteries are holding up would be to measure the voltage fresh off your charger (should be 4.2v) then vape on them for an hour and retest, another couple hours and retest. You should see some drop-off but the nominal charge should stay ~3.7v, the normal operating voltage.

A good site with charging tips would be here:

There's a wealth of battery information on the site for all types and usage.

Lifespan of batteries depends on several factors. How many recharges have you given them, how hard to you push them (wattage), etc. You should get about 200 recharges before they do not recharge well, but if you are high-draining them with LR cartos or attys, this will be less due to more irreversible reactions inside the battery. I would say if you got a year out of some of yours, you are lucky. Six months with heavy use is about average, but its really about drainage habits and number of recharges. Sounds like you are due for some new ones.
