It really is funny to think about. But I went through so many lighters when I was an analog smoker it is ridiculous. So many of my friends, peers, Co-workers assumed I would have a lighter at all times.

About 6 months after I was a vaper, a co-worker asked me if I had a lighter, and to my surprise there were still a couple in the bottom of my desk drawer....

Instructables has a great tutorial on turning your old Zippo lighter(s) into LED flashlights. :)

I keep mine around; one was my grandfather's, one my father's, one mine. Two of three have sentimental value, mine is a reminder of what I don't ever want to need again. Plus it comes in handy to light candles and oxidize Kanthal.

I've been vaping for 3 months now and I haven't had a cig in 4 days. I got so full of myself I decided to clean out anything to do with cigs from my truck . I had a lighter over the visor, in the glove box, one on the dash, and one under the seat. Nothing worse than having a cig but no lighter. Thought that was really funny until I sat at my desk and noticed five vaping devices, three extra batteries, three chargers, a mod stand, and 18 small bottles of juice. Do I have a problem??

No, you don't have a problem. Having lots of supplies means you run little to no risk of having everything die at once and you having to smoke until an order arrives.

I have four batteries, 850 ml of liquid, 12 tanks, and 36 atomizers currently on-hand. It would take a disaster of epic proportions to force me back to analogs.

Oxidize Kanthal and mesh

This. I threw most out but kept like 10 or so as backups for candles and other things. You should never NOT have a lighter or matches in your house in case of emergency, should be in a first aid kit as well..so there you go take something that was used for bad (ciggs) and flip it into something good!

As I was cleaning out my junk drawer and every other place I commonly stashed them (dresser, jewelry case for my watch and wallet, car, desk, office, kitchen, shed, garage...) I was really close to tossing them all out. I threw away a few of them before I realized that you can never have too many ways to start a fire.

Especially if you're faced with a zombie apocalypse.

Also, how else are you going to light your shots, light your farts, touch off fireworks, and clear the odor in the bathroom the manly way?
