Liquid is insanely expensive.

At the vape stores around me, and at a lot of retailers online, this stuff is going for $1 per ml. I understand that artificial food flavoring is expensive (that's why Pepsi costs $12 a can, right?), but should this stuff cost as much per ml as a $750 bottle of wine? :glare:

I can't believe more eliquid makers aren't competing on price in a market like this. Is demand really outpacing production by *that* much?

No Way! I dont ever pay over $0.35/ml!

Agreed w/O2thief...shop around- find a supplier group you trust and like the customer svc from.
Then just like the differences between the discount retailers Walmart, target, KMarts -you'll find someone of your group of
3 to 6 suppliers will always be having a promotion or sale. You can stock your "go to" Fav. Liquids and save a bit of vape budget for trying new things.
All the best.

I think a lot of people here are arguing about apples vs. oranges.

A lot of places (both online and B&M) sell single-note juices where they basically buy the flavoring and add it to their base. It's not at all complicated and can easily be done at home very cheaply.

But other juices are more complicated and involve a number of flavorings. I could do them at home if I knew the flavorings used and their percentages. But I don't. That's not to say that the costs of the ingredients is any higher, but it is more complicated and - more importantly - I can't do it at home (without spending a fair amount of time experimenting).

The two 'types' of juices (and the price I'd pay for them) can't really be compared.

I want to DIY but im so new to vaping I'm not ready yet. So...right now I'm enjoying what I've picked out from vendors. I found a few I like a lot from folks talking about them here in the forums, and so far...Im happy.

Will I get a big honkin jug of VG soon? Probably. But then Ill have to get other supplies too, and probably some nic juice and everything else. Im just trying to take it one step at a time.

But, that being said...is $20 for a 30ml bottle a lot? Oh sure. But I've picked up *two* bottles like that so far, and after reading about some personal accounts of people trying half a dozen or (way) more flavors and not liking many, I think I'm doing ok.

I guess in the end when I buy a nice bottle of juice im paying for the experience of the person/people blending it..

Why is anyone even responding to this thread? The OP was basically a newbe that didn't know what a B&M was, so he can be excused. And the only other actor here is a troll. What's to argue?

Buy cheap juice or don't. It's your choice!
