The smok Xpro M80 Plus has temp control between 200 and 900ºF listed as a feature; I haven't fiddled with the TC function yet, and there were quite a few reports about earlier models either not able to utilize temp control accurately, or just not working at all, period. Mine has been working fine FWIW.

it does faux TC. A pale imitation of anything that is useful imho. Nice 80w mod vv/vw mod but not a TC device..

So I am not up to date with all the devices out and the devices that are coming soon. I would like a box mod with temperature control and I was just wondering if someone had a list of all the box mods that have temperature control. Also are there any upcoming mods with temperature control that look like good devices ?

temperature control will probably improve a lot over the next year or two i think.
right now it only works at very low ohms, with nickel wire; so you have to be real clean with electrical contacts.

That's one area where Evolv still has the edge, Yihi's boards and displays are much larger, making it tougher to fit in compact enclosures.

My favorite TC mod (just missed the last list), in terms of style and functionality, is the Vapedroid "C Series". Comes in either SX350 or DNA40 versions (maybe an SX350J soon), single or dual 26650, and very compact, magnetic battery door for quick swaps, and is not made of billet aluminum, it's 3D printed aluminum/plastic mix that's then finished with Cerakote.

C1D2 DNA40 version on the left, C1S2 SX350 on the right:

And if you really want some battery life, here's the dual 26650 C2S2 SX350 brick:

I would like to know how to get one of those without using Facebook.

Adding titanium mode is really just another lookup table and some basic math functions, plus the user interface to select it. Might even be something Yihi can add to the SX350J/SX330 4S with a firmware flash eventually.

Yep, that is why I said kinda. Still cool they included it.

Indeed, it is cool, and Joyetech/Eleaf has enough market and mind share that we can expect to see others pick up on this pretty soon.

Just thought of something else too. Ti prebuilt coils, with Ni legs (like a conventional NR/R/NR coil head with Nickel/Kanthal/Nickel) would go a long way towards solving the issues prebuilt Ni200 heads are having.

Actually, wouldn't be THAT hard to write a function that does a low power test pulse when it detects a new coil, to see the resistance delta and extrapolate if the coil is nickel or titanium and auto-select the right table.

we have to buy at least 2 generation til that enabled

not so fast :D

That is a great idea. The problem I guess is it relies on the build being good though...I guess a lot of the TC activity relies on that too!
