Left to right. Ego one mini, ego one CT with subtank nano tank, egrip OLED with RBA my new smoant Knight v2 with toptank mini (the Talos tank is just a knockoff toptank) Kanger juppi, ego one vtc mini with toptank mini, and ego one mega with subtank mini.

I haven't fired the two new ones up yet, but some first impressions:

Boxing on both was nice. Neither came with any extras besides a charging cable and a second set of O-rings, no extra glass for the tanks or drip tips or different ohm coils.
The juppi is ever so slightly taller but more narrow. With a toptank on the juppi it sits a bit higher than the knight. Seat of the pants the knight is a bit heavier than the juppi and about the same as my ego one vtc.

I know some don't like the Kanger subtanks/top tanks but I've found my sweet spot with the RBA deck on them so I stick with it.

My wife plans on using the juppi, my knight will be my go to and the ego one mega with subtank will be the truck back up. I'll keep the vtc mini at home for back up duty if one of these new ones fail as it was my primary and favorite device for the last year

Welp. Strike one, the juppi won't recognize ANY of my half a dozen tanks. Says check atomizer for every tank :( .2 coils to 1.0 ohm coils. Kanger tanks and ego tanks.

And the juppi tank won't identify on any of my other mods either. So the whole kit seems to be a dud. ...

I thought that the juppi mod could only be used w/the juppi tank. That was what made it unappealing to me

So I got the juppi tank to work on my vtc mini. But it wobbles on the base badly. I tried again with the juppi box, even fidgeting with the 510 connector and still nothing. It is however wobbly on the juppi base as well even when screwed down all the way. I wonder if the packagers screwed the tank on badly and messed it up

Welp, bummer, Mavericktrd! Sure hope you find a slightly smaller tank that will juppi your juppi.

Well, it took awhile, but I finally got my Union mod (as in Soviet):

Anyhoo, here it is next to my CF18650 and BilletBox 3a:

The first thing I noticed, or rather, didn't notice, when I received the package was the weight (I actually thought they forgot the mod). Here's a comparison of the pictured mod weights WITHOUT batteries:

Billet - 147g
CF18650 - 133g
Russki - 63g (107g with battery, if you were wondering)

The second thing I noticed...make darned sure your tank is 22mm. The Digiflavor Siren in the picture only went in with a LOT of coaxing, and even then, the airflow ring is unusable. I have a couple of new tanks on order, hopefully one of them will work. The Wine RTA fits, not so much the Nautilus and some flavor of enlarged kayfun 3 clown I had lying around. I have a Geekvape Ammit on order, supposedly it is 22mm, so I will wait for it to come in before I use the mod. I could use a Wine on it, but I'm thinking for this mod top fill will be a nice-to-have feature in an atty, so I don't have to "unsheath" the mod when it's refill time.

I've only taken a puff or two with the Siren that didn't really fit, so I can't really comment on the chip, but it appears to be straight up VW up to 50 watts. No TC or any of that mess, which is just fine with me.

Cost me $175 plus $40 shipping at russmods.com. Just visited the site, and they have a dozen limited edition versions up that are the same mod but with...um...eclectic designs for $190. They only made one of each. If you like skulls, you'll be thrilled. If not, they currently have 4 left of the black like I got. Here's one that I'm SURE @Katdarling will have to buy:

I also got the leather sleeve which takes the place of the plastic outer cover for an extra fiddy.

TL;DR: A true SBS that is light as a feather, decent power, but finicky regarding tank size. I don't regret the impulse buy at all.

GOHgeous pics, Stealthy....... and wow, great review! I actually like the little Ruski thing.

And oh bay'bee would I get that hippie coverlette! I'd name it Bon Jovi.

Thank you, hon! Soooooooooooo good to see you posting!

After an hour or so of tinkering I have some more feedback.
The juppi tank tastes amazing! It's easily on par with an RBA toptank. The coil looks very easy to re cotton. No RBA for it available though and can't rewire it.

Neither the knight or juppi has a battery ribbon. The knight is very easy to remove the battery cover and battery but the juppi is cumbersome to do either. Slick and small spaces for sure.

The ramp up when firing the knight is a bit slower than my evic vtc mini but once it gets going it's very smooth and consistent. It's also a bit more sensitive to ohms than my evic.
All my coils ready .1ish lower on the knight base.

The knight seems to be a real keeper. Hopefully fasttech or Kanger warranty the juppi and can send me a functioning box. I'd just get a second knight but my wife really likes the appearance of the Kanger.
I didn't buy two Kanger's and would have preferred to buy zero despite loving their tanks because I've never had a box from them that didn't have problems.

Anyways sorry for the numerous updates today, hopefully someone finds them worthwhile.

I'll update again if I get a replacement juppi

Fantastic detail, Mav, and NOTHING to be sorry about. That, after all, is why this place exists.

Seriously well done, and thank you.

Thanks for the review stealthy! About how long did it take to recieve yours? I just ordered one, and was wondering if EMS is decent, or I should contact them to have it changed to DHL if possible. Thanks!

It took about 3 weeks for me, ordered on the 12th, rec. Last Tuesday. The holidays may have had something to do with that though.

If this helps, my previous experiences are the EMS takes approx. 1-2 weeks in transit (post shipping), and DHL takes 3-5 business days. There's usually a fairly large cost difference though, so I guess it depends on how anxious you are.

The term "Patient vaper" is (sometimes) an oxymoron, and I'm no exception. ;)

Patience isn't the issue :p. I've just read some horror stories about EMS, and I've always had an awesome experience with DHL.

The union stick arrived today. Disappointed is an understatement. The plastic sleeve flies right off with the tiniest shake, and the stitching on the leather sleeve tore while trying to get it on. Contacting VPL today to ship it back for a refund.

I guess the Xvostick spoiled me.

:(:(:(:(:(
