I actually prefer the current design & DNA40 chip over the SX prototype but I'm interested enough to go for the new one. I've really started to fall for my Clownstick lately & have been seriously considering getting the authentic now.

Me too. I prefer the current button placement, and don't like the protruding side of the "Y" (Why????). It's too bad they couldn't fit the SX chip in the same way, but physics are physics.

And I believe you'll find the vape on an authi significantly improved from the clownstick. Much smoother, and not prone to the same "aggravations" either. It's clean, smooth, and just works.

Shockingly my particular Clownstick is flawless, compares to my Sunboxes with auth DNA40 chips. I only encountered the plate loosening up once a few weeks ago & never get the new atomizer question. I keep a Bellus with Ti wire running in temp mode & just switched that build out to a SS running in power mode.

That's excellent! Can't beat it for the price. I thought they were very good (or I'd never have sold them to people I liked), but there is a fairly big difference in the vape. To be honest, I was hoping there wasn't (because I'd have opted for the clowns, after all we went through).

You're doing things with yours that I will likely never do (TC), and I don't know if that's relevant at all.

I can't do that. If you're liking it, why???? Especially considering the track record. Between Kat and me, we went through Hell to get all four of these things working perfectly.

If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands (clap your hands!).

I will be very curious to know more about the WHYstick should you get one (or anyone else). I don't see improvement, style-wise, and like my partner-in-crime, I know that my days of overseas shopping are over, done, finito, no way Jose. Uh uh.

My trip down the 14500 freeway was about as long as the 105 west of the 405. (Feel like I'm in a sketch of the "Califernians" on SNL.)

A blink of the eye in my first month of vaping. I've since attached LED heads to my two 14500 mods and use them as flashlights. Talk about deevolution!

Since it hasn't been mentioned yet, Mini has announced a SX350 variation of the Xvo, called the "Ystick". Now, given the experiences we had, I have my own reasons for finding that name semi-amusing, but 350 fans may be foaming at the mouth over it, so...

They've changed the design a bit, and added a spring loaded pin (apparently). If you don't mind parting with $159 now, and hoping they actually ship in early April, you can get yourself a 32% discount (off the eventually intended price-point).

And IF anyone is wondering, the answer is, "Nope". I like mine, and I'm glad they're working.

I guess I'm just suffering from shinyitus, after tiring of F5 wars for shiny Italian boxes it would be nice to just hit the button & get a mod without all the frustration of being glued to the computer at a specific time or being in the super special secret book of faces group plus....well....I just love the blue with SS buttons, there I said it!

Agreed (best parts changed for the worse).

And I guess they raised all they needed to because the 159 promo came off. I wonder if they edited all their very recent forum posts to reflect that change.

Mmhh checked again and it's back to $159, weird stuff going on....that's really cheap for a sx350j v2......but can't get over the big bump on the side, they really couldn't find a better place for the screen/chipset??

I'm confused how you hold it and press the fire button? I'm guessing thumb press? Seems like it would be awkward if you were a lefty?
