After having them in use for a week, its time to do a little overview of the Ystick:
It's a side-by-side with the Yihi SX350J V2 chipset.

I bought them for $171 each (incl shipping), this was introductory price though, now they cost $247 (incl. shipping). Thank to ecig-mini who put a $20 price on the package, they managed to slip through customs without added taxes.
Keep in mind that when they are not in stock delivery can take a while, mini-ecig has the tendency to be a "bit" optimistic about their delivery times. Communications with them was pretty good this time around though.
Transport from Israel to the Netherlands took 7 days with the regular shipping option.

The mods themselves arrived without blemish, button rattle or any other issue, both function perfectly. They came with firmware 2.206 which is the single latest (2.208 is the latest).

A small summation of the chipset:
- up to 75w
- firmware upgrades
- TC for all standard wires and TCR functionality
- Sxq software (similar to escribe) to program you own temperature curves, includes a logo maker.
- memory functions for 5 settings, and 5 Sqx profiles
- different pre-heat modi
- Sx pure ability (Yihi's implementation of the coilless tank)
In other words, everything a current vaper might need.

The mod itself:
measurements: 83mm high, 55mm wide, and 23-35 deep
the well is 35mm deep and takes atty's up to 23mm, the 510 is springloaded.
weight is 227 gram (incl. battery):

comparison: Xvostick is 180g, Evic vtc mini is 160g, Dicodes No6 is 260g and Provari radius is 190g. In my opinion it is not that heavy.

A few pictures for a size comparison, it's the third on the right in between the athena and the Xvostick, the other side-by-sides.

Size wise it compares best with the Dicodes N06.
My experience is that although it is not as pocketable as the Xvostick it is very ergonomical. Because of the curve it fits the right hand nicely and you fingers rest comfortable on the bulge where the chip is. In your left hand it is a little less comfortable though as the curve goes the wrong way.

A quick handcheck compared to the Xvostick, both with the Bellus tank:

And some shots with some topfill tank that also fit very nicely:

Best fit is still the Kabuki though, sits almost perfectly flush:

My experiences up to now are great, the mod sits excellent in the hand, has all the options a current vaper could possibly need, because it is side-by-side is keeps a short profile, and it is not too heavy. They have both functioned without issues so far, and the Yihi chip is a very nice chipset.
One drawback compared to the Xvostick is that it is less pocketable due to its greater volume, but you get a lot of options in return.
I am still very happy I got myself 2 while they were cheap, but at the current price I would still have bought at least one.
Which I prefer the Xvo or the Ystick?? It's difficult choice, as the Xvo is just so perfect in size and form, I have no complaints about the form itself of the Ystick just wish it was a little bit less wide/deep. Still for me the superior options win out I think, so the Xvostick has finally been surpassed in my arsenal, though by a very small margin. Rest assured they wil both be in rotation :)

Absolutely fantastic review, Dru - THANKS!!!

Although I'm a little miffed at you right now, because I spit coffee all over my monitor at your "bit optimistic" reference.

Received my Knight yesterday. The button is in just the right place. The 'seatbelt' is higher than the Xvo and, therefore, does not interfere with reaching the bottom part of the tank when removing. It fits in either right or left hand perfectly, like it was made to fit. Works great!

Someone posted in another forum that the merlin did not fit in their xvo. The merlin fits fine in my xvo clones

I think they meant to say: it does fit, but when you want to remove the Merlin from your mod you have to grip it by the bottom else the juicecontrol will just spin , and that is kind of hard to do in the Xvostick...
I tried it on my Ysticks and Xvostick, and indeed it is kind of tricky, also the juice control is sometimes hard to see, so not the most ideal tank for those mods.
But also got a Knight incoming, so it will find it's place there :)

edit: doh, just saw you replied to my post over there :) so replace "they"with "I" LOL

I'm considering a SmoAnt for use with all my Kayfun Lites, they're all nano setups...if any Smo owners have a KFL in nano mode they could drop in to their Smo for a look I'd appreciate it.

I don't have a nano, on a lite, so I can't show you what you want, sorry.
